After my first Costco trip I immediately gave up my Sam's membership and hadn't been back until now. I'm visiting a friend in Ocala who only has a Sam's Club membership, not Costco. And the nearest Costco is a 40 minute drive. So I came here with her today. As soon as I walked in the store I thought, "Just an oversized Walmart." Richard accused me of "cutting in front of everyone" to another customer, despite there being no queue at the self-checkout station I utilized. When I confronted him regarding this accusation, he denied making the statement. He subsequently engaged in an argument with me when I reiterated that I distinctly heard his comment and found his behavior to be discourteous. I subsequently reported this incident to Supervisor Elizabeth. She offered an apology and defended Richard, characterizing the situation as a misunderstanding.
