Beautiful little new age, pagan, Crystal shoppe in the heart of Ocala. A huge variety of unique crystals, jewellery, trinkets, tarot, and other witchy type items that I can't find anywhere else in the area. Yes, the prices are on the high side, but the quality is excellent! I'd personally rather pay a little more for a high quality item, supporting a small local business, then get a cheap low quality product from a chain store. The owner and her staff are super friendly and very welcoming. The store often has fun events after closing, such as drum circles, meditation, and Wicca classes. Soul essentials is one of the most beautiful metaphysical shops in the world. It is a blessing to have this shop in my home town. The second you walk in you feel a serene sense of calm come over you. The owner, Jen, makes sure all of her stones and crystals are genuine and authentic. This is a place you have to go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed. There's been several small esoteric shops in strip centers over the years but none have withstood the test of time as Soul Essentials has. I tease my friends and tell them I'm coming here to get essentials for my soul but that's exactly what I'm doing. A large free standing Victorian style former house, it has tons of room for everything. Crystals & stones of all sizes, books, essential oils, purifying sage, candles and jewelry. The jewelry is amazing and consists of everything possible. Positive signage and warm fuzzies are everywhere. In a separate room there's a good collection of vintage clothes for sale at a reasonable price. I've never inquired but I would imagine that must mean they also purchase it. If it's your thing there's a "reader" available by appointment who seems to be popular. Upstairs they hold yoga classes. Yes, it's kind of a multi purpose all in one place. Think of Soul Essentials when your need a gift too because you're sure to find something unique and special. I owned a piece of jewelry that was very special to me because it literally held a lifetime of memories. I had felt it's time had come to give it a new life with a new home. I passed it forward to the owner and the second I saw her put it on I just knew it would have a renewed long future. That's kind of what this place does to you---it makes you smile and pass it on. Prices are an absolute scam and whoever is pricing is taking advantage of people who don't know better. For example, there was a small bottle of Dragon's Blood oil for $35 but you can get it on Amazon for $10. I believe in supporting local small businesses, which is why I came here, but I cannot support those preying on the ignorant. I'm very disappointed in this shop. read more

It makes me feel ant to vomit the pricing in this place. I've never seen a crystal shop with so much inventory and such large price tags. They keep posting they have sales online but I go in and no one barely says a word to me and no price tags have changed. It's overwhelming how much stuff is in there yet they don't have anything set to a reasonable price.
