Bill came over within a few days of me requesting a quote and inspected the work to be done. In the process of upgrading the meter base, I also needed to upgrade the generator transfer switch to 200 AMP. Bill promptly emailed a quote back to me and followed up with a phone call to make sure I understood the quote and scope of work. Then Bill took care of the scheduling with CMP (Central Maine Power) to cut power to the house and remove the meter, which the first attempt was rained out and CMP canceled. Bill rescheduled within a couple of weeks and today was the day it happened. Bill was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He even brought his own trash can and put all the old stuff, wire, insulation scrapes, etc., into it as he went so when he was done, the work site was perfectly clean. Amazing. It shows how thoughtful he is. Bill also checked in with me on a regular basis while we waited those couple of weeks for CMP to return. Miro Electric will be doing all of my future electrical work, and the only electrician I will recommend to my friends.

We can't speak to the workmanship of this company as we were not able to get beyond the initial…read morecall. I called to make arrangements to have an electrician come to our home in order to add ceiling lights, ceiling fan, add 2 sockets and move a light switch in room we are renovating. The woman that answered the phone began the conversation by cutting me off as I was telling her what I was calling for, snarling that she isn't going to do our work for us. Taken aback and not sure what she meant, I asked for clarification as to what "our work" is. She told me to call the town office and ask them. Still confused as I this is not an expansion, but a renovation of an existing room, I asked if we needed a permit for this kind of project as we had done similar lighting additions in the past without a permit being required by the licensed electrician we used. The customer service representative again told me she wasn't doing my job for me and hung up on me. My significant other then called the office and was also snarled at. He was not able to obtain any information regarding how to obtain an estimate for work, nor was he able to obtain information regarding the ownership of the company in order for us to obtain any further assistance. While this is a small job and likely to only require a day or less to complete, this is a test for our future expansion and renovation of our entire home. We, of course, will not be contacting G & G electric for the total home rewire or building of our 2-bay garage and bedroom suite that are being planned (and yes, for that, we will need permits and will obtain them prior to work).
