Very good food in a very short time. The time in between ordering and eating was incredibly short and the food was delicious. The service was great and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the music playing and thought they had an immense menu for whatever you were in the mood for. I ordered the Szechuan dumplings which were peanut buttery deliciousness with a hint of spice. The spider roll was just the right size for me and they have an extensive alcohol list. It was easy enough to park at with the garage parking.

First time here. We sat at the and Kevin was pretty cool. He made good drinks had a good attitude about himself. The hostess at the front was very friendly. We just ordered a couple appetizers and a couple of martinis just to hang out for a little bit, it was definitely worth a while.

I loved my time here at Buddha. I've been to their other location at Ridge Hill which is also enjoyable but this one was better in my opinion. The decor here is great and the staff is always nice. They were amazing to my service pup, offered him many belly rubs and water. I felt very comfortable being there with him and am thankful for their treatment. My food was GREAT as always, the portions are balanced and I never have an issue with how it's cooked. I can't wait to come back! If you haven't tried this place yet you're missing out!

Came here randomly today and was pleasantly surprised. We did not make a reservation and the restaurant is quite spacious. We came at a random time so not many people here. There are multiple parking lots outside since it's in a plaza. We expected this to be very mediocre asian fusion food but it actually came out better than expected. We got the skewers, pork buns, and clear soup for appetizer and they were all quite good. We got orange chicken and pad thai for the main course and both were not bad, pad thai sauce was a little unconventional given the orange color but tasted fine. Overall the service was very efficient and attentive, the dishes came out fairly quickly. We live close so probably will be coming again. Decent place if you are looking for hibachi and asian fusion.

Came in for a quick bit to eat before the movies. Got the Lady Gaga sushi with no tobiko. Absolutely the best! Will definitely be back....next time to get 2...yummers!

The bartenders very nice and friendly. She will help you decide on what to drink or eat. The roses are very good. The fried rice is undercooked. As I'm sitting here at the bar, I watch a waitress dip her fingers in someone's drink to get the lychee fruit that she dropped in it. Now she's staring at me as I'm recording her. No gloves on just pure nasty!! I will be reporting this!

Sushi is basically my whole personality. So I was surprised to find out that this Asian fusion restaurant in Dobbs Ferry has really great rolls. I mean look how beautiful these rolls are! Pictured: Splendid Roll, Spicy Girl Roll, Galapagos Roll, Playboy Roll, Out of Control Roll, and Leo Roll. Restaurant is really spacious, but I typically opt for takeout/delivery. A couple points off because the staff isn't really attentive to customers and give off a "I don't want to be here" attitude.

Ahh it's been some time since I've eaten here. I love that they have such a variety on the menu. You can get sushi, a noodle dish or one of many more options. I usually default to my favorite, which is the pad Thai because it's probably my favorite place that makes it. It tastes exactly the way I like it. Some places have a very sweet sauce but this pad Thai has a perfect balance. Now let's talk about the decor. It just has a really nice, festive vibe inside. The experience is really immersive and the staff does a great job. I particularly enjoy sitting toward the back. There's an area with rounded booths that is a little secluded and feels somewhat private. It's a perfect place for a get together with family or friends.

    Any outdoor seating?

    Yes, they have plenty.

    Do you need reservations?

    Walk-ins are accepted

    Gluten free options?

Hi Rachel, We can certainly prepare certain items on our menu gluten-free upon request! If you have specific dietary restrictions, please advise your server or the manager.

Is this spot owned by the same folks as the Little Buddhas in Ridge Hill and Palisades malls? The menu is quite similar but looks larger here in Dobbs Ferry. Also, is there a regular happy hour?

Hi Luther, This establishment is under the same name chain, however, it is like a franchise. It is…

I see Hibachi entrees on the menu but don't see any Hibachi tables (where your meal is cooked in front of you) in any photos. Does this restaurant have Hibachi tables? Thanks!

This location does not have the teppanyaki tables where there is a performance, however the Hibachi entrees are listed in the menus as they are prepared in the kitchen.

Do they take reservations, and if so, do they take reservations online? I couldn't find their website (other than for takeout ordering)...

Hi David! To address your question, yes we do take reservations, however we do not take any online…

There is a lot of parking available which was great. Upon arriving I noticed right away the outdoor seating was in full swing and I loved how close to the water it was but we opted for indoor seating this time around. I will say we had looked at previous reviews beforehand and had made our choices but, upon checking the menu, it had changed so that was a let down. For appetizers we started with the edamame, ricotta crostini and the soup of the day which was chickpea and escarole. It was a bit strange seeing edamame on their menu but it was deliciously seasoned with the furikake and garlic oil. The ricotta crostini was lackluster. I was expecting a bit of sweetness from the grapes but they just seemed watery once you bit into them. The soup was also just ok a bit under-seasoned. For our entrees we got the chicken Milanese, fried chicken Cesar sandwich, the gnocchi pasta with a side of meatballs and the turkey c.b.a. The chicken Milanese had a wonder salad atop the chicken with all the fixings and the feta cheese added for a nice creamy salty bite. The fried chicken Cesar sandwich was just that. A fried chicken cutlet and Cesar salad stuffed into a brioche bun served with thin cut fries. Can never go wrong with a Cesar salad. The pasta was definitely the star of this meal. The soft pillows of the gnocchi pasta paired with the robust tomato sauce was delicious and with the added meatballs added for a hearty meal. The Turkey C.B.A was such a let down. It literally looked like those sandwiches that come in plastic but just plated. For such a nice restaurant that dish definitely gotta go. For dessert we got the Key Lime Pie and the Profiteroles without chocolate. (There was an allergy at the table). The key lime was perfectly tart and the graham crust gave this nutty goodness that was just delicious. The profiteroles were also so yummy with the crunchy puff pastry, creamy ice cream and then the cherries and candied almonds made for a perfect dessert. While I can appreciate a restaurant changing up their menu often, there are some dishes that should stay put!

Housed in a revitalized historic train station directly next to the Metro-North tracks and Waterfront Park." I must say there is something about train stations and their nearby eateries. Whenever, my friends and I travel to the Hudson Valley, from Tarrytown, to Cold Spring to Poughkeepsie, there are always restaurants that jut out from the train stations. I must say, the food is awesome. Today, my friend Rochelle and I were in a New York Stare of Mind, and followed Billy Joel's instructions but took the Metro North vs a Greyhound bus to Dobbs Ferry. We took in the sun and the Hudson River before dining at Hudson Social. A cool eatery offering a bit of upscale pub food. The menu offers burgers, salads, tacos and a brunch menu until 3pm on weekends. We were in the mood for something light thus we ordered tacos: brisket for Rochelle, pulled pork for myself and a side of hand cut fries. Here's where a bit of a disconnect arose: Rochelle did not want pico de gallo but the server should have instructed her to add a different ingredient to prevent dryness. The brisket was cooked perfectly with a slight char mixed with guacamole but could have used a kick and cilantro. The soft taco was flavorless. My pulled pork taco was delicious: Mango salsa with pineapple chunks, pork was also slightly roasted and guacamole gave it a delicious flavor. I also thought cilantro should have been added. The hand cut fries were good not great, but portion was generous. There was live music: a flutist who played with prerecorded music. There is a bar as well to purchase drinks. Dining al fresco is a must; the view of the Hudson River is wonderful. Must say, the server was not friendly and checked on us mid way through meal. Some folks do like to get away.. and a trip to Dobbs Ferry for a beautiful lunch on the Hudson, is well worth it.

The baked clams and mussels were outstanding, and the crusty bread was perfect for soaking up every drop of sauce. I added jalapeños to the Snow White pizza and it was incredible. Dessert was the perfect finish: frozen espresso, refreshing lemon sorbet, and a giant tiramisu that's big enough for a crowd. My only small complaint is that guests pack their own leftovers. At this level, I think the staff should handle that. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, he was extremely dismissive and simply said no, then added that there were no tables available for us--which was odd considering the group right after us got seated immediately. I'm not sure if it was how we were dressed or what, but his overall attitude felt very cold and unwelcoming. We ended up sitting at the bar, and to be fair, Bill did help coordinate with the bartender Ana to get us seats together, which I appreciated. Ana herself was kind and attentive, though when we asked for food recommendations, she mostly just said "everything is great." I personally prefer a bit more honest guidance. For food, we shared the Hot Honey Roni Sicilian, Caesar salad, and calamari fritti. The pizza was definitely the highlight--super delicious and satisfying, especially as my first time trying that style. The Caesar salad was good, but for $16, I found the portion a bit small. The calamari was also solid, though we didn't love the sauce it came with. While we were eating, Bill noticed where we had placed our bikes (near the stairs where we could keep an eye on them) and came over rather abruptly, asking why they were in "his garden." Even after my friend apologized, he just walked away. His overall presence throughout the visit really hurt the experience--definitely not the kind of hospitality you expect. Overall, the experience was okay. The drinks were good, and my friend and I always make the best of things, but for the price point (about $80 each with two drinks and tip), I expected better service and slightly more generous portions. I'd consider going back, especially if we're biking in the area again--but next time, we'll definitely bring bike locks...and avoid the garden
