We have a 97 Country Coach Intrigue that experienced lack of power going down the road. The 1st repair shop that relayed would get us in and looked at it the same day changed their tune and could not deliver as promised. my RV was running rough. I called set up an appointment. The morning I arrived Mike the owner of the RV repair, actually came out and worked on my RV ,.,a tireless job. He still handled logistics, technical problems in the shop ... But I was so impressed .,.the owner actually coming out and working on. Mike is very professional and very knowledgeable about RVs...something I rarely run into. My motorhome broke down three years ago and he diagnosed it accurately before I even got there and he replaced the fuel pump and got me on my way. This year I had several mechanics look at my RV that was leaning and not level and they all misdiagnosed it. So I called Mike and stopped on a trip there on a cross country trip and he replaced the airbags, fixed the steps, and fixed the electrical problem I was having. He did the work in one day and at a reasonable rate. I wish I could clone him and move him to NJ. He knows RVs! Thank you. read more

Traveling through in a motorhome, my Onan generator failed. Mike got me right in for repairs even though they had plenty of work scheduled. They correctly diagnosed and repaired in a few hours. I really appreciated that they only did what was needed and didn't try to add on extras as most shop will try. While setup in our RV on Dauphin Island we lost all power inside our coach. We called Buddy's early the next morning and drove to his shop for repairs. They pretty much dropped everything they were doing to diagnose and fix our issue. Parts had to be shipped overnight express and the following afternoon we were back on the road. On May 1st (Friday) 2015 at about 2pm, we were traveling home from Bakersfield, Ca. in our 32 Ford pickup. We had just stopped to grab a cup and stretch a leg at a stop on Interstate 10. Once back on the road we knew we had problems. A BAD vibration began and I stopped to check for a loose wheel. The lugs were all tight so we gently made it to the next exit at Mobile Alabama. I pulled into the back of a truck stop and crawled under the truck only to find a rear u joint was bad. I asked a young man working on a tractor in the lot about some place to get the u joint changed. He pointed us to Buddy's Automotive Repair,5662 Jackson Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36619. The phone number is 251-660-0343. I am glad he pointed us there. This shop was about five miles from where we were. I gently eased the truck out onto the road and slowly began the trip to find Buddy's. I had put the address into the GPS and in about 15 min we were there. After pulling into the parking lot I went to the shop and spoke to the employees. they stated I should speak with Buddy in the office. I met with Buddy and after explaining the problem he stated that they had just rolled a truck off one of the racks and we would put mine right on. After checking out the bad u joint they pulled out the drive shaft and began to remove the old joint. Buddy obtained a new joint and they had the drive shaft back in the old truck in about an hour. We backed the truck off the rack and I approached Buddy and asked him what I owed him. When he told me what I owed him I could not believe him ( For his sake I will not divulge the VERY small amount here) I will tell you that we could not believe him. I looked at his wife and she just shrugged her shoulders. I did not know we had such good friends in Mobile, Alabama ! ! ! You can never tell where you are going to meet up with the nicest of people.
