Same computer system for all three. Cost for parts and labor for the first estimate was inflated by about 30%. The markups for the second estimate were not as much, but still high. I read the reviews for Sergio Lewis Body Shop, had three personal recommendations, and the repair cost was much lower than the first two estimates. I got into an accident and took my car to top shop because the reviews were spectacular and they…read moresaid they would take care of me because I went through insurance, they took 3 weeks to fix my car and when they finished the door was an inch higher than normal, the door dropped when opening it the gap between my door and front panel and the paint was dripping and had orange peel in it. I brought all of this to the "manager"s attention (he wasn't a manager as I found out later on) and he said they would fix it, the next day I can to pick it up and the gap was still there and the door trim was still high and I again brought it to their attention and they said for me to talk to my adjuster and find somewhere else because they did all they could and that they work on brand new cars straight off the lot and they know what they are doing because the manager has worked at Rudolph and other places so he knows what he is doing. When I went to leave my car was left dead and when they jumped my car they blew something in my electrical and caused a huge problem with my key and the car itself. As I drove home I noticed they cracked my start button by dropping something on it, my plastic by my shifter gear was chipped presumably by the same thing happening and my car was incredibly dirty in the inside. If I could give negative stars I would I will never ever bring another vehicle to this shop again, they only care about people that have money like the Porsches outside and the expensive cars they supposedly work on, if you are gonna go through insurance for any reason avoid this place bc they will charge the insurance alot and give you the bare minimum work.

Being new to El Paso I chose the one I found with the most descriptive reviews: Southwest Body Shop. I called ahead and sent pictures to the owner, Jesus, who was quick to respond. So I had the tow truck driver take it here. The process was pretty straightforward from there; where my insurance was actually the one lagging behind. The body shop had identified the issue and told me what they found damaged with my car within 24 hours whereas my insurance took a week to send a representative to see the car. After my insurance got their lives together the body shop began ordering the parts and the repair was underway. They kept me updated with daily phone calls, because I was antsy about my car, and couldn't wait to get it back in my hands again. The owner himself even sent me pictures of every part they replaced! TL;DR: Great communication, friendly staff, and descriptive updates about repairs from first contact to receiving my car back.
