I called Luis for an estimate for tree work to be done. He showed up 45 minutes late for the appt (he set the time himself). Said he'd email me the details of the estimate. I had to follow up with him the next day to get the email sent. We set a day for him to come out and do the service. He gave me an arrival time frame. I gave them 20 minutes and then called twice and even sent a text asking for an update when he didnt arrive. He didn't call back until 3 hrs after the scheduled time. When he showed up, I questioned him about not showing up at the designated time or responding when I reached out, and he just gave me an attitude. Had he explained things or even been apologetic for the THREE HOUR late arrival, I would have given them a chance, but considering I had issues with him from the beginning, I would NOT recommend this company. They gave the cheapest estimate of the companies I got quotes from, but I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Unfortunately Buddy's tree services was a huge disappointment. After discussing the project and having the crew execute the plans, there were still missing parts. Several tree stumps were still in tact after they said they were done with the job. There were conversations initiated thereafter the job to have the rest corrected, however they failed to respond to any of my consistent messages. The quality of work was good, but I wish they completed the job, for which we paid them to do, to it's entirety. I will not be recommending Buddy's tree service as they have yet to respond to me about completing the job. read more

We recently moved into a house with an overgrown garden, and needed to remove several crowded and sickly trees and shrubs. We got a card for Buddy's Tree Service from a local lawn service guy. We called and made an appointment for an estimate. He came out in 3 days. We discussed what needed to be removed, as well as the gas and electric lines. (REMINDER: Call JULIE before digging at 8-1-1. They normally come in 1-3 days.) He said they could come back in 3 days to do the work. They called 2 days later to say they were free a day early, if we preferred. They arrived and got right to work. I asked if they knew about the gas lines and what needed to go. They knew everything that needed to be done and even reminded me of one tree that I had forgotten about. I went to remind them to chip the pile we had bundled and it was already gone! They removed 10 large shrub stumps/roots, removed and chipped 3 diseased trees and 3 overgrown bushes, ground down the roots and stumps, cleaned up all debris, and put our patio furniture back--all in about an hour. The supervisor put a mask on to collect payment (which was probably less than the cost of the stickers we would have needed for the Village to remove everything). They were unbelievably fast, affordable, knowledgeable and professional. Several shrubs surrounded cable, gas and electric lines and they were very careful with those. I highly recommend Buddy's Tree Service, they exceeded all expectations. We will definitely call them again. read more
