He provided a quick and reasonable quote. Ozzy and his team came out the next weekend. They arrived on time and went right to work, and didn't stop until the jobs were done. They trimmed all the bushes, dug out all the weeds and timbers that were growing where they shouldn't be. Removed a small flower bed and sodded it. Removed all the railroad ties bordering the beds and replace them with new ones. Mulched all beds with cedar mulch. They even cut down a large tree with a huge active hornets nest in it. He said yes it could be cleaned and the pavers reused. he also said we could replace the pavers if we preferred. he spent a lot of time explaining how he would do it and how it would look, and he took a few minutes to provide estimates for both ways, both of which were very reasonable. We decided the next day to go with him for washing and reusing the pavers and when we asked if he could do it the next month he readily agreed to our timetable. the patio is beautiful and we couldn't be happier. while his crew was at our house, we asked them to extend the project by washing and resetting some stone landscape walls that were in bad shape. so they took care of that as well, and we couldn't be happier. what we especially liked about Daniel was his practicality and ability to reuse existing material. his price couldn't be beat, he was so responsive and we will definitely use him again.

I had to follow up with him the next day to get the email sent. We set a day for him to come out and do the service. He gave me an arrival time frame. I gave them 20 minutes and then called twice and even sent a text asking for an update when he didnt arrive. He didn't call back until 3 hrs after the scheduled time. When he showed up, I questioned him about not showing up at the designated time or responding when I reached out, and he just gave me an attitude. Had he explained things or even been apologetic for the THREE HOUR late arrival, I would have given them a chance, but considering I had issues with him from the beginning, I would NOT recommend this company. They gave the cheapest estimate of the companies I got quotes from, but I guess you get what you pay for.

We live in the west suburbs of chicago and have a heavily wooded lot. We have relied on Dawson's…read moremultiple times to remove large trees over the years. Most recently they removed an 80'+ tall "V" shaped tree that was damaged during a rain storm. Part of the tree fell and the other part that was still over 80' tall was compromised and had to be taken down immediately. I called Dawson's first thing on the morning of the 4th of July. Despite it being a holiday, they immediately responded and sent their arborist out to evaluate and mobilize the correct course of action. Within days they remedied the situation and removed all parts of tree. This particular tree was in a very tricky spot of of yard wedged very close to a neighbors house and part having over this house. Amazing work they did. As the owner of a small business, I can appreciate the highest level of customer service. This was exactly that. I will always use this company in the future and give them my highest recommendation. They responded lightning fast and the tree removal team was respectful and courtesy will the entire process.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
