I scheduled the pick up of the dumpster per their process. I receive an email 430pm the day of pick up (Friday) saying they cannot get it until Monday. It would need to sit over the weekend. Trying to get someone on the phone is nearly impossible. I did get a hold of Trevor who dumped me to voicemail. **This is a first hand account of my personal experience so far with Budget Dumpster** First 40 yd delivered on time & picked up a day late which went smoothly. It was supposed to be a swap for another 40 yd dumpster & they charged my card at that time for a second charge of $575. Multiple calls of them saying that I was still on the schedule for 12/6 & should have an empty one by 6 pm. That time rolls around & there is still no dumpster. I requested multiple times for my call to be escalated to a manager to no avail. Now it's 12/7/2022 & I still have no dumpster or a call back from anyone letting me know whether I will have a dumpster today but best believe they have my $575 for it. read more

I would recommend that if you need to rent a dumpster and you expect that it will be picked up when this company tells you it will be...You should hire someone else. If you expect to talk to a person on the phone that knows what they are talking about, can actually help you, or actually do what they tell you they will do...Hire someone else. They don't have the ability to resolve an issue or follow through on what they tell you on the phone or even after you get an email from "sophia" that the dumpster will be picked up...Nope. Reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I called on a Friday and scheduled my pick up for my filled dumpster. My schedule day for pick up was Monday !! Well... they came that afternoon on Friday and picked it up. Even tho we may have thought we were done, we THOUGHT we had 3 more days to tidy up and make any final disposals we needed, and the dumpster was gone! Terrible customer service. I scheduled a dumpster at my home a month ahead of time and of course my credit card was charged right then. I received a confirmation the day before the scheduled delivery. They tell you it can be any time between 6am and 6pm. Ok, I can deal with that. At 5:30pm, no dumpster. I called and was told, yes delivery had been confirmed for that day and it was still on its way and would be there by 6. I left, and when I returned around 8pm, still no dumpster. I called again and the woman I spoke to said she would contact the driver and find out where he was and when he would be there, and call me back. She never called back. THE NEXT MORNING, a day late, still no dumpster. I called again, this was the third time, and was told that "the dispatch office" was closed for the weekend and she would send them a message and they would get back to me on Monday. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! The delivery was scheduled (and paid for!!) a month ahead of time for a Friday. Now it will be at least MONDAY before I'm even contacted about where it is???? This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I've lost an entire weekend that I could be filling this thing up. And my family has taken time off work for this project. We can't get this time back! How is it this difficult to get a dang empty dumpster dropped in your driveway??? And why is the communication so bad?? I could tell the woman on the phone was simply repeating her script of "I will contact the dispatcher, they are closed, it will be Monday" and she would not give me a number to call to escalate this issue. There was a miscommunication with the initial person I spoke to. He told me which day to call to have the dumpster picked up (10 day rental) and when I called they totally flipped the script and said they were backed up and couldn't pick it up for 5 more days. Don't use this outfit. They will rip you off. Told us to make sure nothing hangs over the sides.....which we did. Apparently we're suppose to weigh it to ensure it doesn't exceed two tons. Now where is that scale? I must have misplaced the one that lets me weigh objects BY THE TON! They charged us $52 for overage. The damn thing wasn't even completely full. Not cool at all. Give people a damn break......you get plenty of money to set a big dumpster somewhere and come back to pick it up! Also, they do not tell you to call a week early for pickup. You get the stupid thing for ten days but have to fill it within the first three or four days or you are screwed. Useless. Save yourself a lot of hassle. Don't use these clowns! read more

This has to be the worst business ever. DO NOT use them for any project. I spent $359 for a 20 yard dumpster. They told me that it needs to be level. It would cost if its over. I knew it would cost me alittle extra because it was over. I called to have them pick up and bring another one for $269.00. They came to pick up and said they cant take it because of some boards sticking up. Also they will charge me for a dry run because they couldn't pick it up. What. They should tell client that if its over the top they will not pick up, not that it would cost more money to haul off. Then extra fees to tell me that. What. Never again. It's a scam! Whatever extra fee they say you may be charged, be prepared to pay because they find a way to do it. Not sure how I am supposed to weigh the materials as they go in the dumpster so I was just a little over the required weight and got charged. We deal with dumpster companies on a regular basis. Unfortunately we had to have one on a recent jobs and our normal companies were booked. Needless to say what I had to pay these guys I could have gotten 2-3 dumpster from a local company. We ordered a 10 cuft dumpster, they didn't have one available, so they offered a 20 cuft for the same price. They delivered a 30 cuft, though they should have called for my consent, it was fine. We filed that baby up. We were over-weight and were charged an extra $40, because what I ordered had a lower weigh limit. Fair enough. Polite and friendly, lived up to promises.
