    Over an hour line!

    Terrible experience! Was off my plane and claimed my luggage all within 10 minutes of landing, and then spent well over an hour on a ridiculous line that funnels out to the different car companies. Our desk representative was extremely rude and barely makes eye contact as she goes through her rote script. Absolutely felt the pressure being placed on us to purchase additional unnecessary insurances, toll passes and pressure to pre-purchase gas at their set rate. Not really what you want to deal with when you waited so long to finally have your turn. Then you're dismissed with a car number to go locate your vehicle quite far away from this area. The entire experience was frustrating, aggravating, and not at all like any other rental car experience I have had. Would not recommend this company to anyone I like.

    I have been waiting in line at the RSW pickup counter for over two hours to pickup a car that was reserved months ago. We spent the last hour on the phone with several customer service people who refused to offer any solutions. We rent at RSW every year but we will never use Budget again. We still have at least another hour in line. What a terrible way to start our vacation.

    Upon arriving at the rental counter the girl was extremely rude! Basically mad because she couldn't sell us the toll and refueling package. So we put our luggage in the hatch hopped in and a few hours later I looked in the back and the seats were stained brown! After seeing all the wet nose prints on the back window we knew a dog or some kind of animal was left in this car and urinated on 3 of the 4 seats of the car. The armrest had vomit that had dried and was crusted. Never cleaned!!! The windshield (the only way to explain) looked like they cleaned it with milk. Once we got into the sun we could barely see out of it. I took pictures right away and called customer service. They had the pictures also because I emailed them to them as they requested. All they offered was a coupon for a free day rental on a future rental. NO THANKS! I would never rent from this company again! After multiple emails back and forth they finally gave me a small refund, which I consider a joke for the unsanitary mess they put us in. Think twice before you rent from this Budget. Pictures are attached. They deserve zero stars but that's not an option.

    So slow. Workers are so rude and unclear. Waited for 3 hours for my rental. Spend the extra dollars and go to Alamo!

I reserved and paid for a full size vehicle under my corporate contract. When I arrived, the employee on duty showed me the only "full size" car available. A Nissan Versa. I asked if the Nissan Versa was considered a full size. He said yes. I asked again, are you sure? He repeated yes. I knew a Nissan Versa was not a full size car, as it felt extremely small. I once again stepped out of the vehicle and directly asked if a Nissan Versa is considered full size. He insisted it was. Before leaving with the vehicle, I checked Google, specifically to the rental class with Enterprise. As expected, the Nissan Versa is classified as a subcompact. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. This was not confusion. This was a clear misrepresentation of the vehicle class. I asked to speak with a manager. That did not happen but then he asked me what kind of car I wanted. I made it clear I wanted exactly what I paid for. No upgrade. No downgrade. No excuses. Getting what you pay for should be the minimum standard. Eventually, a female employee approached me. I explained the situation. She apologized and handled the interaction professionally. I appreciate her effort, but the damage was already done. I understand how rental locations operate. I understand quotas, ratings, and long term rentals with 30 day review cycles. None of that excuses misleading a customer. This experience crossed a line. I will not return to this location. As a consumer, verify what you are given. Do not accept false answers. Make sure you receive the vehicle class you paid for.

The employee was working very hard to get to everyone that was dropping off. He made an effort to say hello, smile at me, and say he would be around shortly to get my rental returned. When he returned, we exchanged a few words about the cold weather while he checked the car and gas level etc. He said my receipt would be emailed to me. My receipt was received in less than an hour- probably sooner than that, but that's when I checked. The receipt was correct with no surprise charges. The return area has markings on the ground that you can follow to get to the terminal. There are all signs that point how to get to the terminal de the rental return area. I found the terminal with ease despite the construction going on. Rental return process was smooth and efficient. Thank you.

Before I showed up, I was able to see the exact vehicle chosen for me, and in which parking space to find it. It was a white Bronco, not my first choice, but also not a bad choice. Before we started up, we took photos from several angles, including a BIG ding put there previously. No one seemed interested in adding a damage note in the record, not the staffer manning the garage booth, not the staffer checking my ID at the exit, and not the staffer who checked us in upon return. "Your photo is the best thing to have" was the main message I could elicit. I enjoyed driving the vehicle, and no post-rental hassles, so far.

I walked up to the Sixt desk and was able to rent a car for the night until we could pick up our other rental car. They saved us! The next morning, we drove to Fox car rentals to pick up our rental and we were informed that because we missed picking up our vehicle at the time that we were supposed to they gave our vehicle away and they didn't have any more vehicles to rent out. We kind of panicked and then I decided to call Sixt to see if we would be able to keep our rental car for the remainder of our vacation and they said that was totally fine and the price was reasonable. Sixt saved us again from another disaster. I was very pleased with their service!

They prey on customers using deceptive business practices. There is a reason they recently lost an $11.7M class-action lawsuit for this exact fraudulent tactic. Apparently they did not learn their lesson from that. I am warning everyone I know to stay as far away from Sixt as possible. There are plenty of legitimate rental companies out there. This is not one of them. ZERO stars if I could. I have opened a case with the Florida Attorney General's Office regarding my experience. Do your due diligence and read all of the negative reviews on here as well as on Google. The company will delete negative reviews on Google, so do your homework. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

No apologies/ no attempt to rectify the situation/ no concern for their customers situation whatsoever. SHAME ON YOU DOLLAR CAR RENTAL!!!!!!!! When we got to the counter, they surprisingly told us that our car would be an electric vehicle, instead of a gas powered vehicle that we ordered online. We have never used an electric vehicle, and don't know how/when/where to charge one, so we asked to have a gas powered vehicle instead. They said they could only do the exchange with an additional charge, which was quite pricey. This resulted in our paying several hundred dollars extra. What happened to us amounts to a "bait and switch scheme" that you should know about, because they are likely to try it on you too!!! We had no recourse at this point in the day, as it was too late in the evening to find another rental company. When we tried to rectify the situation, their app didn't work, no one answered the main phone line, and they said the manager wasn't available. If you do use Dollar, I suggest you have a pre-printed copy (on paper) of your order, in case you need to show proof of what you ordered when you get up to the counter. Also, this review is only for the Dollar car rental at the Fort Myers airport; we often use Dollar and other car rental agencies elsewhere with no problems.
