I reserved and paid for a full size vehicle under my corporate contract. When I arrived, the employee on duty showed me the only "full size" car available. A Nissan Versa. I asked if the Nissan Versa was considered a full size. He said yes. I asked again, are you sure? He repeated yes. I knew a Nissan Versa was not a full size car, as it felt extremely small. I once again stepped out of the vehicle and directly asked if a Nissan Versa is considered full size. He insisted it was. Before leaving with the vehicle, I checked Google, specifically to the rental class with Enterprise. As expected, the Nissan Versa is classified as a subcompact. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. This was not confusion. This was a clear misrepresentation of the vehicle class. I asked to speak with a manager. That did not happen but then he asked me what kind of car I wanted. I made it clear I wanted exactly what I paid for. No upgrade. No downgrade. No excuses. Getting what you pay for should be the minimum standard. Eventually, a female employee approached me. I explained the situation. She apologized and handled the interaction professionally. I appreciate her effort, but the damage was already done. I understand how rental locations operate. I understand quotas, ratings, and long term rentals with 30 day review cycles. None of that excuses misleading a customer. This experience crossed a line. I will not return to this location. As a consumer, verify what you are given. Do not accept false answers. Make sure you receive the vehicle class you paid for.

When I inquired why I was able to complete the reservation online, I was told, "it's the way our system works. I have had a bunch of pickup truck rentals come through lately and we never have those." Lie to get you in the door, then you are inconvenienced to the point that you have to settle for what they offer, The counter personnel were rude and unprofessional. The first employee assisting me shrugged off my concerns and eventually stopped attending to me when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The second employee, while checking out the vehicle with me, rudely shouted over my shoulder at another customer, which is highly unprofessional in any situation - in this one the other customer was a elderly gentleman who just needed a little more help, instead the employee shouting at him said "There are 5 people in front of you, you will just have to wait! I only have 2 people, what do you want from me?" Then proceeded to complain to me about the other customer. After a few days with the vehicle, I received a "key battery low" message. When I returned to the Lehigh Acres location to have this fixed, the manager could not find a replacement key and suggested I purchase one myself, offering a mere $10 discount on my rental. When I declined and requested a vehicle closer to what I had originally reserved, I was finally provided with an SUV. However, when processing the paperwork for the swap, I let the manager know the car I was swapping only had a 1/2 tank of gas and asked that I not be charged for the refuel, since the swap was out of my control and by no means my fault. She let me know I would be charged the inflated fuel rate unless I left to go refuel the car - yet another inconvenience to me. This was particularly frustrating as the swap was out of my control. As someone who manages branches for a rental company, I understand the importance of customer service and would have at least offered to bill the fuel at market price for the inconvenience. To add to my frustration, the SUV I was given had an almost empty gas tank. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. If you have to, best of luck and hope you are not looking for a easy or efficient solution to your problems.

No one came to help us after 2 hours, and the sheriff ended up towing the car. They just keep saying I would get an email of my charges and I have yet to receive that receipt and it's been 2 hours since I dropped off the car. I walked up to the Sixt desk and was able to rent a car for the night until we could pick up our other rental car. They saved us! The next morning, we drove to Fox car rentals to pick up our rental and we were informed that because we missed picking up our vehicle at the time that we were supposed to they gave our vehicle away and they didn't have any more vehicles to rent out. We kind of panicked and then I decided to call Sixt to see if we would be able to keep our rental car for the remainder of our vacation and they said that was totally fine and the price was reasonable. Sixt saved us again from another disaster. I was very pleased with their service!
