She uses it as her communication device. Unfortunately, it's no longer under warranty/insurance. It showed the hotel as its last location , using find my iPad. We called the hotel, left our number. Called again this morning, asking if there were any updates? Staff tried to be helpful, but had our number copied incorrectly. Stated they hadn't been there in a week. They'd check with the assistant manager and housekeeper named Jasmine. We called back an hour look after asking if there was an update, as we were traveling and were three hours away. Staff stated the nobody had reported anything and Jasmine and the assistant manager weren't in. I asked if there was any way to check with them to see if this device had been turned in? She put me on hold and then said the manager was checking the housekeeping office and the room where we had stayed. She also said he said to use the find my iPad location. I said the last location shown was their hotel, before it shut down. Needless to say, he reported back that it was not found. Lesson learned. After years of being very diligent, double checking and triple checking, before we leave a hotel room, we goofed. We thought we had put her pink mini iPad device, which she uses for communication, in her backpack. We didn't. The bigger issue is that there are staff members who work at this hotel who didn't hand this technology in to the front desk. Travelers, be sure to watch out for your belongings!

This property was clean, comfortable, and offered free breakfast. The service was great - the front desk staff was attentive even though we checked in past midnight, and the breakfast staff the next morning was very welcoming. The hotel room itself left something to be desired in terms of style and art, but again, a Hanpton Inn looks the same no matter where in the world you are. Definitely a great place to stay if you find yourself in Morristown.

If fishing and/or camping is your main objective, this is a great spot for you. My dad lives in WV, but has a cabin here and pretty much fishes every day (rough life). There is a huge firework display for the 4th of July and the resort does a cool little parade for its guests. Everyone decorates their golf carts and rides around the property. It is a lot of fun. The sheets in the bed are either dirty or very stained. The floors are grimy, there is dirt caked in the corners and even used gum behind the bedside table. The award goes to the sink. It is covered in hair and caked with soap in the corners. Easily the most disgusting thing I've had to live with. I asked that my room be cleaned, with special mention of the sink. The bed got made and the gum is gone. No clean sheets, no cleaned sink. If I hadn't paid for my whole stay when I checked in, I'd clear out of here and stay in my car if I have to. It, at least, would be clean and not covered in someone else's hair!!!
