Return location is hard to find. And they marked it as returned about two hours after I returned it which could have led to me being overcharged but didn't in this case. But beware because it may for you. Seemed very sus but not worth fighting over since I still wasn't overcharged. The car a/c stopped working one time until I turned the car off and on but that seems to be a thing Volkswagen jettas do and not enterprise's fault. So just never ever get a Volkswagen if you don't want the car blowing out hot air in Alabama in summer.

The site allowed us to make the reservation and we did not receive any communication all day about them not having vehicles for same-day reservations. Then, we walked down 30 ft to National and the same older lady associate walked down to gleefully to tell us they own National as well and nope , no cars. There was no attempt to help or anything. The rep at the National counter (long braids/blank facial expression) found an older reservation we made and secured us a car. My partner expressed frustration with the previous service and the rep with braids said she was DONE with us and canceled our car and called her manager. Mind you we never saw her teeth-- no smile, no customer service, just moslty silent unhelpful attitude. The manager, Brenden, came to hear about our experience, did not engage in any problem solving, customer retention, and made no effort to help and empathize because MS IM DONE said she felt uncomfortable. She was not called out her name, threatened or disrespected, again just communicating frustration with the experience. So, no car and awful customer service for us at almost midnight in a new town. We walked 5 ft over to Avis and rolled out within 5 min with a nice car, no issues.

9/19/2025 DFW shut down I had to get home to my family after completing two weeks of Govy training…read moreand I was left to fly out of Nashville I had to book a one way rental from Hertz at 1945 at night, a short stocky mixed gentlemen with short curls with a speech impediment said because it was a one way rental that would be charged $0.50 a mile Nashville is 120 miles from airport to airport, There is a major discrepancy in the receipt and mileage, I drove 124 miles from Huntsville Airport to 10 Century Blvd, Nashville, TN 37214, then 3.7 miles to Nashville Airport. The receipt is stating that I drove 579 miles is the error. I only drove a total or 128 miles on government orders. they input the mileage incorrectly or purposely for the rental prior to me getting the vehicle and are now attempting to charge me for it as this. This place is a scam and they will try and scam your credit card. PLEASE PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND NEVER RENT FROM THEM THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN OR CHANGE OF MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!! Customer service manager reached out to me and made the corrections and said that someone on their end made an error. I app them making the correction, however looking at the reviews this needs to be addressed on a much larger scale.

The car was decent and clean. Cheap basic transportation. No cruise. No power locks. What irked me the most was that I refused their gas program and signed off on it, yet was still charged for it.
