Extremely disappointing experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car…read more Upon pickup, the vehicle smelled overwhelmingly of marijuana--so strong that even with the windows down, two of our children became nauseous and we had to pull over so one could vomit. This is completely unacceptable for a family rental. We immediately responded multiple times to the Enterprise text message that said to reach out with any issues, but never received a response. To make matters worse, the back passenger tire had a leak for the duration of our trip. We had to stop and refill it with air multiple times per day. When we called to request a vehicle swap, we were told they were short-staffed and could not assist unless we drove back to the airport--costing us hours of our vacation. The only other option offered was to pay an additional fee for roadside assistance to put on a spare tire, with the restriction that we couldn't drive over 50 mph for the remainder of the rental. I did eventually hear back from a local manager about a week later, but after I responded via email, I have not received any follow-up in over 10 days. Between the unsafe condition of the vehicle, the lack of responsiveness, and the poor customer support, this experience fell far below expectations. I would appreciate someone from Enterprise reaching out to address this situation.

It's December 22nd. The manager Ben didn't seem to care that we had a confirmation number and they were unable to give us a vehicle, with many cars in the lot. We were forced to pay $700 in flights to Denver, as well as another hotel night due to them not being able to give us a car. We have spent almost $1000 due to their mistake & management has yet to get back to us to offer a resolution on this. Do yourself a favor - and book through another car rental service.

The bathrooms were right next to the car return. We had TSA precheck where there was a line of zero. Compared to Atlanta TsA precheck where we waited over 15 minutes for TSA precheck, this was an amazing experience. The TSA staff was friendly. Walk to our gate was another 1 minute. There are 7 gates in the airport. It is small, but efficient. Be prepared to walk to your airplane, so keep your winter coat handy! This airport is super easy and convenient to Steamboat Springs which is an easy 35 min drive.

Liz is the epitome of customer service. She let me know that my flight time was listed incorrectly, which is why I was unable to book with my job's preferred rental car agency. She guided me to what time the flight would actually arrive and let me know that her location was not at the airport. She then shared other options with different companies that would be available to fill my needs. Liz needs to be promoted immediately as customer service like this just doesn't happen anymore. The company that I normally rented from left me stranded at 3:40 AM in OKC last week, therefore, I was looking for a new rental car company. Liz ensured that the new company will be Enterprise.

I told her what I needed to help me make a decision on driving 3 hours to see the vehicle. She had her mechanics put the vehicle up on the lift and took all the pictures I asked for. Within 10 minutes I knew it would be worth the drive. I booked an appointment with Alexa for the following Monday. She communicated with me the entire time letting me know everything was ready for my arrival. When I arrived, she had the truck out front and ready for a test drive, then helped me go through the carfax and check everything out. Once we landed on an acceptable price she introduced me to Josh, her manager. He was as nice as Alexa and again made the process easy. I am now the proud owner of a new to me Ford Truck! Specifically asked if they had the parts. Was told they had to evaluate. Dropped truck off. Got a call from service later in the day saying my truck was ready. Got there to pick up my truck. Service tech could not find the paper work. Then tells me they didn't have the parts. 30/40 minute drive each way to the dealership, driving 2 vehicles each time!
