The bathrooms were right next to the car return. We had TSA precheck where there was a line of zero. Compared to Atlanta TsA precheck where we waited over 15 minutes for TSA precheck, this was an amazing experience. The TSA staff was friendly. Walk to our gate was another 1 minute. There are 7 gates in the airport. It is small, but efficient. Be prepared to walk to your airplane, so keep your winter coat handy! This airport is super easy and convenient to Steamboat Springs which is an easy 35 min drive.

Bought a deal through an online offer and wish I had saved my money. When you call to schedle a tour you are calling a cell number. rarely answered and you might get a call back. We were told to expect a call the night before our trip to go over all details, like where to meet the shuttle, etc. We never got the call and had to place multiple calls the morning of our tour to find out what to do and where to go. Once we finally drove all the way out to the ranch for our half day tour with lunch, we discovered that lunch was actually a chili dinner, would have been great to know before we showed up having not eatend and with a vegetarian. When they split up the group into two tours they never bothered to ask if there were any first time riders...would have been a great question to ask so the people who drove up from Denver and have riden before wouldn't get stuck witha couple from Georgia who were afraid to go over 10MPH. During the tour three of the five machines were breaking down and running out of gas...the owner said it was due to the "warm weather" Bull! The machines were not maintained as they should have been, it actually looked like they bought all their machines used because none of them matched - different brands. models,etc. (even the shuttle van was a plain white van without anything indicating Elkhorn). The owner had to come out to our group twice to bring mroe fuel for the same machine! Neve thought about brining up a better one to use instead. After fours hours of being on our tour we had spent more time sitting on the trail than we did moving - and never once were we offered an apology for our experience. If I had not purchased this as a discounted deal through another vendor we would have demanded our money back. Save your time and your money and stay away from this place...we have had great experiences snowmobiling in Steamboat but this was the first and last time we will ever patron Elkhorn. In fact they have turned us off the guided tours entirely now.

A lot of it comes down to how you use your ownership. We love ours, and it has more than paid for itself over the years. We recently stayed at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas in a one-bedroom villa with a full kitchen, living room, and plenty of space to relax. The accommodations were comfortable, cozy, and perfect for an extended stay. One of the best things about this resort is the location. Once you park your car, you really don't need to drive again until it's time to leave unless you're planning to explore the surrounding area. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, along with plenty of mountain activities and attractions nearby. The resort itself offers a full schedule of daily activities through its event calendar, an activities room, and access to the restaurant and bar located in the main hotel. There is always something to do whether you're visiting for a few days or an entire week. While the villas are still very nice, it's probably not too far off from needing a refresh and some updates. That said, everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained during our stay. This is a fantastic destination for both winter skiing and summer mountain adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

I was the only one on the bus to my hotel at 12 noon, but there were several skiers on the green line to the gondolas, even a 93 year old skier that used to instruct. The bus rider was kind enough to wait for him crossing the road by Residence Inn, which I thought was extremely patient. It's not easy walking in ski boots with all your ski gear at 93!!! Shout out to these lovely bus drivers who are polite and helpful to clueless first time riders wanting to avoid walking back 5 miles to their hotel after a delightful morning run/walk! Free is for me!
