I want them to stay open-- and I want them to continue selling and offering all that they do. I had spent almost 2 full hours just walking around and looking at everything. We decided to buy a game that was a spin off from "settlers of Catan". We had spent at least half an hour observing the game and deciding if this is the one we wanted. After carrying it around and putting it back... carrying it around for a little while longer... Putting it back... We finally decided to invest in this game. $40 with tax is not too bad for a game like this. Upon much excitement.... we went home, made our dinner, and started popping open our new game. However we were missing pieces. Not just small pieces but their very big... main pieces. We looked up the one 800 number to call the manufacture. But they insisted we just write them a letter and let them know what the issues were--and with "snail mail" they would get back to us. So we brought the game back to our local Idaho Falls store. When we brought it back, the associate was -- to be honest-- short with us and snappy. The "manager " (or so she said was the manager), was equally as rude. They reluctantly gave us back our money back--with us producing our receipt. About 5-6 days later, the REAL manager contacted me. He was very kind and understanding. I told him how many years I brought my kids into this store to buy books. Our family has been part of this store for over 18 years. He apologized and explained the issues.... and offered us a gift card to return. I never expected that, but was very impressed with his humility and kindness. We all have bad days, and these 2 employees were just having a bad day. We've not only been back many times since, we've also recommended them to 3 of our family and friends. Thank you Barnes & Nobles- I pray you will continue to remain open.....offering something the Internet can't-- amazing face to face service!

Sanchez trucker nearly…read morekilled us on the interstate. mi familia were cruising at 81 MPH in the passing lane to pass Sanchez Trucking driver in his semi. The driver suddenly went into the passing lane - nearly hitting us from the front passenger door to the bumper. Sanchez trucker was not even going the speed limit and almost killed us. He actually didn't even go back into his own lane- shoved us/car into the medium. if you want to use this company to haul your stuff- I hope you read the 1 star complaints on just how dangerous Sanchez Trucking is. I took the dash cam video to the Idaho Stare Police. They actually made a copy for their records. I also reported them to (FMCSA). through their National Consumer Complaint Database. You can submit complaints online or by phone. The FMCSA uses these complaints to identify problematic carriers, investigate violations, and maintain a record of complaints against specific companies. FMCSA phone number: Call 888-DOT-SAFT (888-368- 7238) between 8 am and 8 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Sanchez Trucking will murder someone one day or an entire familia. I hope my complaints to ISP and FMCSA will help ppl out when they sue Sanchez Trucking for wrongful death-murder.

It's the kind of place you could easily get lost in for hours. What makes it especially interesting are the unique and obscure sections. You'll find everything from Japanese writing and culture to American war documents, along with fascinating historical materials. There were even vintage Pocatello postcards and books featuring famous photographers like Edward Weston. They also host open mic nights, which feels so friendly and community oriented. Honestly we didn't even see a single employee while we were there, but we had a lovely time wandering wherever we wanted and exploring the space. Cozy, a little wild, and completely packed with things to discover. A dream spot for curious readers. Great finds and used books are priced well.

However, when I went to the counter to buy a few of my finds the owner Will seemed to be friendly and we seemed to have a pleasant conversation until it turned slightly political and he suddenly had a profane outburst (calling half the country "Motherf_____s). I don't care what side of the political aisle you maybe on, I think it is inappropriate, unkind, and intolerant language. Also, I think using vulgar name-calling to describe people you might disagree with discourages thoughtful communication. And without thoughtful communication developing love and understanding becomes more difficult. I love and care for many different people with many different varying political views. What someone believes politically does not make them less worthy of love and understanding. I'm unlikely to visit this bookstore again because of the interaction I had.
