DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE…read more Craig has been a close friend of my family's for decades, but that all ended when he worked on my truck. I was just getting ready to deploy to Afg. Knowing I would have some extra money, I wanted a few things upgraded. I had 6 things on my list. 1. I wanted a crate engine installed. (my old engine was fine, just getting up there in miles.) 2. Fix my passenger side door (dented and scratched) 3. I wanted FOX Body suspension put on. He talked me into something else 4. I wanted the transmission gone through/ repaired if needed. 5. I wanted the 4x4 looked at and repaired + Lock out hubs installed. 6. I wanted HID headlamps What I received nearly a year later was nothing like what I had asked for. I told them that I was going to Afg and that there was no rush, that was April. Sometime around June/ July, I had family try and check on the status. They were ducking and never returning the calls and messages. Finally, around August, someone was able to get someone on the phone. They told them that I would be coming home soon and I would be expecting my truck. I returned in mid November to ZERO work completed. I found out on the way back from the airport why. They spent the entire 9K and change on something/ bills for the shop. Then had the nerve to ask to borrow 3K from me in order to buy the engine. (See they took my engine out and shipped it off as a core fee or something. So I had a big empty hole where mine used to set). I told them I would leave it there and would be home for Christmas to pick it up. So I foolishly loaned them the 3K. I buy a one way ticket from AZ because I planned to drive it back. Nothing, they still don't have it done. We set down and come up with a deadline. everyone agrees to it. I went back home on Saturday 14 Feb 2015- 10 months later- because they say it is ready. Dana was to meet me so that I could pick it up, they went out of town. Also I was not able to sign for nor dispute any repair. No paperwork was available and they left the keys inside the gas cap door. No one would answer the phone and 2 day later I still have not heard from them. My next action is to seek legal advice. 1. First thing I noticed is the door was off of a different truck because it has dents that are very clearly visible and the paint is the wrong color. 2.Second is that the 4x4 hubs have not been upgraded. and two of my hubcap/ center caps are missing. There are new noticeable dents and deep scratches in the side. The rest I am unaware about until I drive it. No one was there so I called and left a message that they still have not returned( no surprise there) The engine that was supposed to be new has no power at all. When you get on the interstate and give it gas it takes forever to do anything. The engine revs to 4-5000 RPM's and takes about 35-45 seconds to reach 70mph. and anytime you give it any throttle, the transmission jumps pack into 2nd. Thus, when I took the truck in I was getting 14-15 MPG. Now when I baby it, I am boasting an average of 13.248 over 1407 miles to AZ. Not only was the 4x4 not upgraded, it still doesn't work. The suspension was not even upgraded to the one he talked me into. he just put regular shocks on it. The head lights he put in are the same type that I had in it, might even be the same ones(unchanged). The moral of this review is this: If you have extra money just laying around and can't find a charity to donate to... this is the place. However, if you have to work for a living, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! -Josh Lakin
