Williams A-1 wasn't the least expensive quote, but we decided to go with them based on their professionalism during the quote process, positive word of mouth, and the fact that the dead tree we needed removed was very large and very close to our home. We couldn't risk any screw-ups. While spending money to take down dead trees certainly isn't our favorite use of funds, we absolutely got good value. They arrived with a ton of equipment and their crew made it clear that they were here to do things the right way. We asked him to give us some calculations on labor to justify that price. He then became very nasty and refused to cooperate. I ended up getting other estimates - all way, way lower than $7,000. We ended up having the job done for $1,400! Stay way from this guy!!!
