From the moment…read moreyou walk through the doors, you're hit with an intense mix of heavily scented cleaner and air freshener. It's not subtle--it's overpowering to the point that it made my eyes water and caused intensely painful headache. The room itself was even worse. The odor was so strong it triggered a headache and nausea, making it incredibly difficult to relax or get any rest--especially frustrating after arriving already sleep-deprived. What added to the experience was the lack of clear or confident communication from staff. I received multiple explanations for the smell--air freshener, cleaning products, even the floors--none of which inspired confidence or resolution. The room also lacked proper ventilation, leaving no way to escape the lingering fumes. Beyond that, the overall experience continued to fall short. The vibe felt off, my room key repeatedly failed to work from outside due to what I was told was a broken door, and parking comes at an additional $9/day. The noise level is bonkers. They said they were full. They stated I would be on the top floor and stocked with coffee and blankets for the bed. As seen by the photos, neither was confirmed or delivered. In contrast, the Hilton next door offers free parking and a much more comfortable, odor-free environment. Overall, this stay was disappointing and far from relaxing. I would not choose to stay here again. - signed an elite member staying on the road 80-90% of the month

He told me that he didn't have a room for me. I asked if I needed to wait a few minutes until 3:00, he just shrugged and said he didn't know. I was a bit confused, and told him I had a room booked. He just looked at me and said "I don't know, we had 15 rooms that requested a late check out". I was a little bit baffled, so I just stood there looking at him. He eventually got on the phone and spoke to someone, then told me he'd found me a hearing accessible room. He was very dismissive and almost rude during our entire interaction, it was very odd. The room itself was fine, but I'd be very hesitant to book again based on how I was treated. He was working again the next morning when I checked out, and had the same dismissive attitude. The manager reached out to me to discuss what happened, and how they intended to move forward. I really appreciated their response, so I'm updating this review.

But... After I gave my credit card and signed a paper, the other lady stepped in and said they didn't have that room type available. I asked to switch room types. Simple solution. She said it would mess up their whole system. So ... me needing a room is secondary to messing up your system. Got it! This Courtyard is obviously not big on customer service. When I mentioned this and pointed out a half empty parking lot, they said everyone was at a basketball game. This would mean everyone staying here is here for same reason. Okay.... I'm very generous with my ratings/reviews. Those who follow me know this. But I can smell lies from 30 miles away. If they're not going to be honest and accommodating with me, they're not going to be with you either. Not recommended.

You have to pay to park, but you must do so on an app. I paid $14 for two days, with a code they gave me. The room itself was spacious, but I could heard noises in the hallway and outside. Not the loudest hotel I've stayed at, but not the most quiet either. There are tons of food and shopping options, which means this area is busy! That also means there's something to do for everyone, no matter how picky or particular they are. Free breakfast is included, and there was oatmeal, yogurt, bottled milks, breads and bagels, eggs, waffles, sausage, and bacon which some fruit options. There's also coffee and tea, and they had oat milk out. Not a terrible place to stay when traveling with family, I'd look into staying here if I were in the area again.

I felt like I could live here and it seemed even bigger than the apartment I actually live in back home. There's a large kitchen space in the suite, but a breakfast with huge variety and selection was included with my stay. There's a large gym on the first floor. Every staff member was incredibly kind and friendly. The only real issue I experienced was with an AC unit that seemed to not want to stay on the warmer setting. Eventually it seemed to sort itself out in the night. There was also a ventilation fan in the bathroom that was permanently on, making it a bit noisy at night. And I wouldn't recommend buying any snacks in the little shop as they are quite pricey.

It started off strong with a very clean, modern, well-decorated lobby that looked like it would belong to a more expensive hotel. The staff was friendly and gave me a toothbrush since I forgot mine. The rooms were very nice, and the breakfast was by far one of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts I've ever had. They also have a coffee bar at the main desk where you can get speciality lattes, cappuccinos etc for a fee, which they can charge to the room. They also have huge cookies at the coffee bar, which my coworkers really enjoyed. Overall it exceeded expectations: clean facilities, friendly staff, and excellent service.

We had a 6 hour drive and I had to go the restroom and she patiently waited to check us in with a smile on her face. Also, was very nice and checked in my dogs as well and put them in the system. I went for a long walk the next morning (8/9/2026) and coming back, my mobile key was not working on my phone. I went to the front desk and told a new lady that my phone was not working and was not able to get in my room. It just felt like I was bothering her, she was watching a movie in her phone. I was even very nice to her and was the one that acknowledge her presence and greeted her. She then asked in a very accusatory aggressive manner if I divulge at the front desk that I had pets when I checked in before looking at portfolio if it was entered. After she looked, she said they only entered 1 day (maybe because I have been in the place for 1 day?) in a scolding manner like I entered the information. Maybe I was making her miss a good part of the show or movie she was watching. Something to probably improve in is the mobile key, I've been staying at a bunch of Hyatt properties and seems like it's been a hit or miss. Other than that, good location with an amazing trail for pets and people. Good Area. Hidden gem. Great place to stay if you want to be close to Koreatown.

If you've stayed at other Courtyard properties, this one will feel very familiar. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I had a room with a king-sized bed, and there was also a nice desk area that made it easy to get some work done. The room also included a mini-fridge, which was convenient for a longer stay. The only real issue I encountered was with the Wi-Fi when I first arrived. It appeared to be an area-wide outage, as I could see the internet provider's trucks outside working to resolve the problem. The service was down for much of my first afternoon and evening, which was frustrating after a day of travel. Fortunately, once it was fixed, the Wi-Fi worked well for the remainder of my stay without any further issues. The hotel is in a convenient location with several restaurants within walking distance if you don't want to drive. There's also the standard Courtyard Bistro for breakfast, just as you'd expect from the brand. I also made use of the fitness center during my stay. It's not particularly large, but it has the usual cardio and strength equipment. I was there around 5:30 each morning and never had to wait for a treadmill, so it was more than adequate for my needs. One thing that caught me by surprise was that parking is not complimentary. There is a small daily parking fee that is handled through a third-party service. Thankfully, the process was straightforward--you simply enter your check-in and check-out dates once, and you're set for your entire stay rather than having to renew it each day. Overall, this was a comfortable and convenient hotel for a business trip. Aside from the temporary Wi-Fi outage and the unexpected parking fee, I had a great stay. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.
