A picture is worth a thousand words. Just see the photos below. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst online purchase experiences I've had. I ordered the "Pink and Pearly" premium bouquet and paid $165 for the largest size, plus $9.99 for balloons. I understand seasonal substitutions happen -- that is not what occurred here. What was delivered bore little resemblance to the arrangement advertised on their own website. The bouquet is specifically described as being "studded with pearls and woven with gossamer ribbon." There were no pearls. No ribbon. Nothing even close. Those are not minor substitutions -- those are defining features of the design. The flowers themselves were underwhelming and unacceptable for a "premium" arrangement. The bouquet was small, some petals were MISSING and others were visibly drooping on arrival. It looked like something hastily assembled (and purchased at a gas station) not a $165 arrangement. Even more concerning: the balloons I paid extra for were never delivered at all. I contacted the owner immediately to give them an opportunity to address this privately. It has now been five days with zero response. No explanation. No accountability. No attempt to make it right. When you charge premium prices, you are expected to deliver premium quality -- or at the very least communicate when you fall short. Neither happened here. I would like to update the review I placed. The problems I experienced were corrected by the owner after we talk and she upgraded my order. It was a nice gesture to correct the experience. She has since updated the businesses order system and look forward to using her shop in the future. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! Doris is far too busy to take small orders!!! I ordered flowers for my mother 2 days in advance and chose to tip rather than upgrade. On the day the flowers were to be delivered, I called as a courtesy to see when Doris would be able to deliver the flowers so I could make sure my mother was home. Doris treated me like garbage, she actually said she didn't understand the question 'when are you going to deliver the flowers?' And then said she was far too busy with funeral arrangements that pay way more than my order so my order didn't matter. I was floored that she is a business owner and treats people so poorly. I asked her not to call my mother as it was a surprise and if she could just tell me when she had time to deliver the flowers, I'd make sure my mother was home. Doris made a happy occasion a nightmare and purposely called my mother to ruin the surprise. She is a very mean, spiteful woman and refused to even drive down the driveway and instead made my mother come to the end of the driveway to get her own flowers herself. I purchased a $55 bouquet but paid almost $100 in fees for this kind of service and it's sick how Doris takes advantage of people. 0/10 do not recommend. Order from doordash, it's cheaper and more professional! read more

We order flowers for family all over the country. I always look forward to ordering from Buds & Blossoms for our family in Anthony. I often get to talk to the same gal who is courteous and attentive to detail. Every delivery has been beautiful and trouble free. One time I needed a last minute arrangement and they got it out the door for delivery the same day. This shop is a gem! read more

Thank goodness Buds & Blossoms Florist is in the delivery zone of my dearly departed friend. I had made a few calls to other supposed 'local' florists, who actually turned out to be those "800 number call centers" staffed by sales-hungry reps. Luckily I followed my intuition, and said NO to the online-chain-florists, then kept searching for a real, down-to-earth human being, and a flower arrangement expert...enter Doris at Buds & Blossoms. I knew I had found the right florist when her answering machine said, "Have a Blessed and Peaceful Day!" : ) Doris took the time to carefully listen to my wishes and creative possibilities, and of course my budgetary consideration...and met all the marks like a champ. She is very easy to work with, and is a very nice lady. So important when you find yourself under the stress of shopping long distance for the right flowers for a very important and meaningful life event. I ordered from these folks because when calling florists in Ocala, Palatka and other locations I had people be rather rude and tell me that "No one delivers to Salt Springs, it is not worth it to go to the forest". Well then I called Buds & Blossoms and I spoke to the kindest, sweetest woman that took my order, made sure my mothers order was perfect and when I saw the flowers that were delivered to my mom I almost cried~so beautiful and being in NY and not being able to deliver them personally, this was the next best thing. I ordered flowers from here to be delivered to my sister for her 60th birthday. Most florists in the Ocala area wouldn't deliver to sis because she is too far north of the city. Buds & Blossoms was very happy to make a beautiful arrangements with the required snap dragons and white roses. I saw a video of sis receiving her flowers and they were absolutely beautiful. The flowers I ordered my mom for Mother's Day were beautiful. However they did not deliver the day I asked they we delivered 4 days before and actually called and asked her to come pick them up. Which is unexceptionable! The point of a surprise is not to call and ask them to come get their own Mother's Day present when it was supposed to be delivered and to top it off she only lives 20 min away!!!! When I called and spoke to the person in charge all they did was try and come up with BS excuses, argue, and be so rude. A simple I'm sorry for the inconvenience and try and resolve it would have been much better. Also she said I never told them which day to deliver when I ordered it a month ago???? Who orders flowers and doesn't tell them a day??? Not me.... and they were ordered a month in advance shouldn't they have called??? I'm definitely not ordering from there again!!!! read more
