So today I just need a link out of an inexpensive watch and a bsttery. He loudly said I don't do watches. Ok bye but he proceeded to look at watches, commented on them being cheap. Just an all around typical dick of a white man. Never ever made eye contact. I was dressed casual w a ball cap on. I guess he thought I was pretty beneath him. What a jerk. Do not recommend for the ladies.

( they had sent it out to be repaired) The watch appeared to work when i left and within an hour it was not working again. I went back only to be met with much resistance from the owner and staff over the issue. I was charged 153 dollars for the repair. Some time went by and i met a man who does watch repairs and i had him take a look at it. He said it was his opinion that the watch had never been taken apart nor been worked on and he believes they simply had changed the battery and sent it out the door to me to make a dollar. I also got a second opinion on the watch by a jeweler repair shop and they told me in their opinion it was likely it was never taken apart to be fixed and was not fixable. I believe still to this day i was ripped off by these people. Im reminded of it recently cause of my curiosity to have it repaired again and its now sitting next to me and i wanted to get this off my chest on here. Id give them minus stars if i could.

We were both nervous going in, having no experience buying, or knowledge of, fine jewelry. We were a little worried about being taken advantage of. The reception we received was warm and the staff were nothing but kind and helpful. They helped us find what we wanted and never tried to push anything on us. Their prices were unbeatable and the way they have treated us since we made our initial purchase is better than we ever could have expected. They resized the ring on our time and made a minor repair quickly and for free. They worked with us to design the wedding band and worked with our schedule to get it done on time. Seriously, these are the kindest and most helpful people you could ever buy from, they recognize us and the ring when we walk in the door. They have treated us like old friends and we've only made one real purchase from them, that is a testament not only to their customer service as a business, but also to their character as a family. I can't imagine buying jewelry from anywhere else in the four state area after the experience I have had with Newton's.

I don't remember it looking like that when I took it off the night before either. The other lady but into our conversation stating they don't work on lab grown diamonds (I wasn't asking about the diamond. I was asking for reshaping and repair of the gold band and setting base.) That lady continued to tell me that my ring was terrible and it should have never been made that way, when in fact that's exactly how I wanted my ring to look originally and I loved it that way. The jeweler did step in telling me what I should have done to it, but that it would change the look of the ring slightly. I left there without much help and feeling like my ring was "terrible."
