The meal is usually "season-based", i.e. corned beef in March; turkey in November; lighter salads in the summer months. I get to see some other retirees I do not see otherwise and enjoy a very good and filling lunch. Today the lunch was a nicely displayed plate with a 1/2 pineapple carved out. The pineapple chunks were put back in the carved out fruit and topped with cottage cheese and a 1/2 strawberry. Next to the pineapple were several slices of honeydew melon and cantaloupe and a couple of slices of ham and smoked turkey. The meat was a bit salty so eating each bite with a bit of melon was a good idea. I will return next month.

All equipment was provided for a fee, and included were sturdy disposable plates, cutlery, and napkins. The food was delicious, especially the pulled pork, and presented very nicely. We received many compliments from our guests, and my parents were thrilled. They were super moist and even the little old Polish ladies at the party said they were superb!! Their portion sizes were insane, and no one left hungry. Leading up to the event, we had conference calls, as well as using his client portal, to update details (names, dances, song requests, etc.), which made it super easy for Mike to lay out how the evening would go. He really directed the whole night and everything was on time and went super smooth. Music choices were OUTSTANDING, he played a great mix of the styles we'd discussed, our dance floor was going strong the entire time. He played some hits, some deep cuts, we couldn't have asked for anything better. All of our guests and us really enjoyed him, his energy, his presence on the mic, his control of the room, his ability to read our crowd. His up-lighting made the entire space look great. I would highly recommend him. The cost was very affordable as well, we would have easily paid 2-3x more for the experience that we got. Thank you Mike for make our night awesome!

He was amazing to work with; our meetings with him were fun and put us at ease while also being incredibly informative. Even though we were planning our wedding from out of town, we never had a difficult time getting in touch. He made sure we had everything planned and running smoothly. He also understood exactly what kind of music we wanted and everything he played was spot on. Everyone had an amazing time and friends/family are still raving that ours was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. We largely have Mike to thank for that.

The sign "Everyday Gourmet" has been up for a while, but it was not open yet. Then I drove by the other day and saw it was open. Stopped in today first chance I had, to check it out. Cute cute cute space. They have it displayed nicely. A few tables in the front as well. They had perhaps 10 cupcakes ($2.85 each) on display today, and some other shortbread and related treats. I talked for a few minutes to the owner (I believe), who said they have their original location in Niagara Falls. They do a lot of catering I understand. Always good to know. While they have a rotation of perhaps 40 cupcakes, we tried the white cake with chocolate chips and buttercream frosting (forgot the name) and the peanut butter banana one. Both were well received. These cupcakes are not huge. They are a good size and have a reasonable amount of frosting. Personally I liked they way they flowed together. A sample of the shortbread left me wanting more. I'll be back soon for some other treats. Located just down from Ashkers, parking is street, traffic flow easy. Ill update after more visits. But I want everyone to know this place is open and to stop by and give them a try.

After having a foot long hot dog and cheese-fries at Sullivan's, and sitting on the deck we adventured across the street to this new establishment that opened at the end of July 2013. We were greeted by rows and rows of custom cupcakes. I was in heaven but unfortunately I let my wife choose for us. :) She made an excellent choice though, the Pina Colada Cupcake. It was so good and fresh and good. Now I wish I had gotten my own all to myself. I also noticed delicious looking brownies and other sweet delicacies. There is also a wide range of hot and cold drinks. The owner was there to serve and was very friendly and helpful. After speaking to her we learned that Everyday Gourmet is also a full service catering business available for both private and corporate catering and has been in operation for many years. The business card she gave us stated that their service includes custom menu planning, delivery, set-up, and break-down for your event. We will be back!

We hired Andrea Ball as our "day of" coordinator for a wedding in the Buffalo, NY area and she did…read morean outstanding job that made our wedding so much more enjoyable as she took so much of the stress out of it. While we did much of the vendor selection and planning (site, florist, cake) on our own, Andrea reviewed contracts for us, came with us to planning meetings, and recommended vendors for areas we had not yet found one. She found people on short notice when things came up (e.g. piano player for our cocktail reception) and made sure that we had thought through all the issues for the day of our wedding. But the real value was on the day of the wedding. Andrea had everything moving on time, with little stress, and it just made things move by so smoothly. Andrea has great working relationships throughout the area which adds to her value in making sure things get done without a hitch -- and if there is a hitch - she'll fix it before it becomes a problem. Worth every penny and then some.
