She made us feel comfortable... ranging from challenging financial negotiations that most couples wouldn't be prepared for, to even providing her opinion when we needed an unbiased third party. Daulton was thorough, honest, thoughtful, and will make you feel secure as you go into planning your big day or special event. Plus, she's a breath of fresh air in a cluttered wedding industry where it can be difficult to find a trustworthy person to help you. Her taste is so elegant and simple, and her suggestions for decor and ambiance were always exactly what we were looking for! We hosted two weddings - one in New Orleans and the other in Cleveland. It was not easy planning in two locations (especially because we don't live in either location) for two completely different style of weddings, but Daulton made the whole process a breeze and so enjoyable! All of our vendors spoke so highly about Daulton and how organized everything was. Her day of coordination was flawless, even through a few hiccups, we never stressed as Daulton had everything taken care of so we could enjoy our big days with our family and friends and help our wedding dreams become a reality. We initially met Carla at Château du Feÿ, where she was employed. After a disappointing experience with another planner, we hired Carla 5 months before our wedding, hoping her 3+ years of specialized venue expertise would be invaluable. To our surprise, Carla had not worked with half of our vendors before - even though they were part of the short list of recommended vendors provided by the venue. Despite her website's claims, Carla's design suggestions felt generic and lacked the personalized touch we were looking for. Carla's lack of attention to detail became increasingly apparent as we worked with her. Our wedding had many unique and custom details. Lots of information that a seasoned wedding planner would be able to keep an attentive handle on. The mounting oversights caused significant stress in the final weeks leading up to the wedding. We were genuinely anxious that our vision wouldn't be realized. Luckily, we had multiple vendors and family friends that helped Carla execute the event. As the bride, I distanced myself as much as possible from Carla to allow myself to enjoy the day without frustration. This is not the typical experience. While we appreciate Carla's willingness to take us on with short notice, and she did have some helpful insights regarding sourcing a local florist and unique videographers, her lack of attention to detail ultimately overshadowed those positives.     This one star is generous, at best. Needed a tent for a bridal shower-- did a few searches and…read morefound Buffalo Tent Rental aka Elite Entertainment. Things started out OK. I had some back and forth with AJ via email and phone to see if I could get a tent, some white resin chairs, round tables, and linens. Basic. We work up a package and I am happy with it. Their website indicates that they can serve anywhere in Erie county (my event was Akron) but may need to charge a location fee. Fine. I agree to the location fee and the package deal. I pay the deposit. The tent with everything ends up costing just over $600. I called prior to the 10 days that the invoice indicates and made my final payment and confirmed the details. The person on the phone never read back what I was getting, but again I had it in writing so fine. I asked for a time when the tent would be set up so someone could be there. Not sure, but will be the day before the event. Event is on a Saturday so I assume this will be a Friday set up. Tuesday of this week (3 days prior to the event) I get an email saying the tent will be set up on Thursday but they can't give me a timeframe. OK. I will be at the venue waiting. The crew shows up at 3:00 PM to set up. Fine. They set up the tent and were nice enough. I didn't love that they were smoking on the property and arrived with shirts off, but I'm not a prude whatever. Just was looking for a little more professionalism. As they were setting up I noticed that they had set up banquet tables, not round tables as my invoice requested. I told them this. The crew said they didn't have any round tables on the truck and to contact the office. I immediately did so. I also tipped the crew after they finished setting up. Sarah in the office told me that she had no record of my request for round tables. Told her I would email her the information indicating that I had. She said she would call me back in the morning. Ok. It's for a bridal shower, I really need the round tables. I paid an upcharge for resin chairs, I want the look I was going for. This isn't it. I left the venue for the evening and received a text message and photos from my sister (whose home it is) asking if the crew had been in my sight the entire time. I told her that I had watched them erect the tent, but it's a large space and I couldn't account for all of them at all times (there were 4-5 men on the crew). She sent me photos of human waste and "used" napkins along the side of the garage...someone had obviously relieved themselves. I can't prove that it was the crew because well.. who has security cameras in the wooded areas of their home, but let's just say this isn't a high traffic part of Erie county.... Let's forget about this poop incident shall we and move on to the other issue... I still didn't have my round tables. I spent the day before my event (Friday) playing phone tag with these folks (Sarah in the office was pleasant enough) trying to figure out when I was going to have the tables delivered. When it got to be 3PM on Friday evening, I finally had enough and called again. Bob, the owner, answered the phone and I calmly explained the situation and that I needed the tables. Bob then went on a rant telling me how he didn't have enough employees to help me out, told me that it was a "Blue state" problem (invoking politics was not even relevant here), and then promised he would bring me the round tables that I ordered the next day. I told him that I had no evidence that he would follow through, but at that point... what could I do? None of these issues were remotely my problem, but Bob made sure to tell me about them anyway. On the positive side, Bob did show up the morning of the event (about 4 hours before while we were starting to set up) with the round tables and appropriate linens. We didn't speak other than to exchange pleasantries because again, I was holding an event and did not want to stress myself out. The event went off without a hitch and I then made sure that I was at the house when the crew came to dismantle on the following Monday (can't have any more surprises...). Everything was cleaned up just fine. I never received a phone call from Bob or any kind of apology for my issues. He was happy enough to take all my money without ever discussing what occured with me. The tent itself was OK. The chairs were scuffed, the tent was in rough shape, but I was actually willing to look past all of that if all of these other things hadn't occurred. To put it mildly, I am embarassed for having hired this company and I HIGHLY encourage others to reconsider giving them your business. Again, I cannot prove this crew left us these presents, but it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure it out. Even without the poop in the woods, it's still a never again experience for me. Avoid this business if you need a tent rental and don't want a headache...

She was so kind, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly--not just professionally, but with heart. Planning a wedding from out of state can be overwhelming, but Bev made it feel easy. She was always quick to respond, full of helpful suggestions, and incredibly patient with our questions. On the big day, the room looked beautiful, everything flowed perfectly, and the staff handled every detail with care. On the night of, we were taken care of by Amanda who kept the night running smooth and helped us stay on our schedule! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how good the food was, how smooth the night ran, and how lovely the space was. We got to just enjoy the night, knowing the team at Grapevine had everything handled behind the scenes.
