The food taste very good but after seeing the kitchen area I can't speak for the quality of the food. The service was ok but man that place was disgusting...

The food is delicious, just like all Buffalo Wild Wings, however this location seems to struggle with getting orders correct.

Always down for a sports bar, even though I'm not a sports guy. Well, I mean, if eating was a sport I would be an Olympic gold medalist. But since it's the off season, I'm eating for pleasure, not business. Pulling up, you can absolutely tell it's a sports bar. A lot of that has to do because it says so on the sign. But even if that wasn't there, you would guess it's genre of restaurant. The inner part of the building, where the cooking and eating take place, also speaks loudly of this restaurants affiliation with sports. One thing that was nice with this place was that the seating is spread out enough to where you don't feel packed in. There's plenty of room for movement without having to stand on a table to let people walk by. As is the custom, I ordered boneless wings as an app. Buffalo flavor. The sauce. not the animal. Came with complimentary ranch I will use and complementary celery I will ignore. The wings were good. Had great flavor and the breading wasn't too thick. I like the taste of chicken in my boneless chicken pieces. Also, as is the custom, I ordered a second app. The pizza puffs. Now, from where I come from, we have several sports bar restaurants that specialize in Pizza Puff Apps™. Therefore, those restaurants are the bar to which these will be measured. That being said, I do feel the outside of these were a little too hard. Almost had a crust. Not ideal. The PPA (Pizza Puff Apps™) I'm used to are like fluffy clouds of dreams. Like puffs are meant to be. Theses missed that mark. The marinara sauce was good and the orange cheese was great. Though they do upcharge for the OC (Orange Cheese). My Main Character Meal™ was the classic fish-n-chips. Cod: 2 pieces. Fries: Crinke. Firstly, the fries. Crinkle cut fries are God tier and I saw Jesus with these. Secondly, the fish was great. Great batter, great flakeyness. The missed the mark with the tartar sauce though. It had a sweet taste, which didn't couple well with the fish taste. Tartar sauce needs to have more of the first part of their name in it. Oh. The southwest ranch for obligatory fry dipping was fantastic. Pizza Puff Apps™: 7/10 Fish part of the fish-n-chips: 10/10 Tartness of tarter sauce: 4/10 Sports bar-ness: 11/10

Better than I anticipated…read more Good service, great beer selections, including several great craft beers and plenty on draft beers, and pretty decent appetizers. We had the pretzel app and it was plenty for two to split. It didn't truly seem like a sports bar- and that's a great thing- I typically dislike loud sports bar places.. Definitely a decent spot for a beer and app!

Looking at the tinted windows…read moreand generic posters, from the outside you wouldn't expect much more than a dive bar with a couple of TV's. What a great surprise to find an absolute fantastic sports bar. Tons of TV's fill the walls of the bar, immersing you in a many viewing options. The biggest and best surprise I've had coming here though has to be the food. I've had the pizza and then most recently their version of the Monte Cristo. Of course, the gold standard for me for this sandwich is the Bennigan's version. Is it really the best? Probably not, but it's what I remember loving growing up and what I hold all future Monte Cristos against. This one was very good. On one hand I really enjoyed that it was crispier than I've had before, but I think it did change the flavor a little especially dipping it into the raspberry jam. The only real knock I have on the place is their craft beer selection. Kind of plain Jane. Wouldn't mind having a couple more exotic choices to the list. But that's just a minor issue and really doesn't take away from the overall great experience. Great staff, great service, great food and a great time.

Margaritas tasted like limeade minus the tequila. Our server Elizabeth was amazing. Upbeat personality and checking on us constantly. We were a table of 4 that were in for dinner and drinks. We were impressed that the chef came out and checked on our table to ensure the dinner met our expectations. We've not had that service ever in Fenton. After dinner, we decided to head downstairs to the outdoor patio for a few more drinks to end the evening. This is were the night turned ugly. It was almost as if we went to a totally different location. We sat for a very long time before having to ask someone who peaked their head out of a door if someone could take our order. We were told none of the drinks we had upstairs were available downstairs. We changed what we were previously drinking to continue the evening. Every round of drinks required us asking for someone passing by to assist us. Our server finally returned and said she was distracted for a bit. We had asked for additional napkins which she never returned with. After having to wait for quite a while, we still had to ask another waitress to bring our check. Keep in mind that the patio only has 5 or 6 tables that had 10% guests at best. It's difficult to understand why this premium location in Fenton has change names several times over the last few years but with this level of service we experienced I can understand why. MANAGE YOUR HELP!!!!!! They are killing your business.

A pleasant surprise…read more About a week ago, I was out with my friends and we were looking for a chill place to just hang out and have a few drinks that wasn't too crowded when we happened upon this quiet little hangout rather by accident. For some reason, it seemed everyone in town was out that night and each one of our preferred watering holes was either too crowded or just felt meh to us. After meeting up in Flint Township after work, we were struggling to settle on an ideal, perhaps new, place that also served decent bar food, but was laid back and not filled with Nascar fans, dbags or overly drunk 21 year old girls. After ditching two other establishments because they were not our scene, we came across Vic's Place, quite by happenstance. Vic's Place was definitely the answer. Located around the back of the new Ruggero's location (with a separate bar entrance), Vic's was a nice, quiet alternative. It wasn't a lame sports bar or dive bar, just a quiet pub with good food and drinks. The food was quite good and the menu was fairly extensive, ostensibly because the food comes from the Ruggero's culinary team. After all, they are located within the same building. The food menu featured a lot of pasta dishes and specialty pizzas, as well as the basic tenets of bar food, namely burgers, sandwiches and deep fried appetizers. I split a ginormous order of loaded nachos, heavy on the traditional fixings with a pretty decent hot sauce on the side. My friend, Jen, ordered a personal margherita pizza and while I didn't sample her dish, it looked great, plus she said it was quite good and would order it again. Vic's had an extensive list of beers on tap, which I like in a bar, as well as a nice selection of craft beers. Draft beers came in two sizes- big and humongous. Guess which size I had. Anyway, the beer and wine lists were impressive and the cocktails, while they took a long time to hit the table, were fun, inventive and decidedly not on the weak side. The Old Fashioned was a good classic, strong, but subtle in all the right places. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. My friend, Jen, asked the bartender to "whip up something unique." She was not disappointed. Her nameless concoction was an ode to a Manhattan, but with a twist. I tried it and she was right- it was sublime. I liked the atmosphere. It was laid back and quiet, despite the fact that there were quite a few people in the place, seated up at the bar and at tables. The bar had a jukebox. That was kinda interesting. It wasn't something you see everyday. As for decor, there was a fire pit near our table and the bar was outfitted with a mix of high tops and low tables, with a slightly elevated seating area near the jukebox and the fire pit, which was where we were seated. Be careful when you step down or you'll trip, especially if you're a bit inebriated. The service was a little slow and it definitely took a little bit longer to receive our food than it probably would in a typical dive bar or a greasy spoon, but it wasn't that bad and there was only one bartender on duty pretty much the entire time we were there. Plus, the food was clearly quite a few notches above basic bar grub, anyway. Prices were on par with what one would expect. The draft beer specials were cheap and well worth the extra money to order the larger size draft. I will definitely be back. Our group came in with low expectations and left with any preconceived notions about the place completely shattered. Definitely a nice place for a quiet drink with friends after work or happy hour.

Here is the problem... the bartender gives this one Ding Dong at the bar the remote to the music and he cranks it so loud that you cannot talk to the person next to you. This probably isn't a problem at night but at 6pm when most of the clientele is over 60 and trying to eat dinner this doesn't go over too well.
