I am impressed by the staff at this BWW. For years I stopped going after other locations I had staff that didn't care. This location has incredible management team who currently have the nicest staff I have ever met. My nieces and nephews have a blast when I bring them with me. Not entirely sure what the hangup is with one star reviews? I've eaten here once a month for the past four months (Aug - Nov 2025) and have never had a bad experience. Bar area waitstaff is attentive, polite, and service is quicker than any other BWW I've been to. My food is made to order and the consistency is exactly what patrons want in a chain restaurant. What a joke! How does a place like this stay in business?! Pick up order was 40 minutes late even after being given over an hour wait time when the order was placed. When I arrived there were numerous people waiting for orders, a couple of them being Door Dash, that were extremely late. Lots of irritated customers waiting! When dine-in people came in they were either waiting to be acknowledged or being told that food will take over an hour. Then, I was informed that they were out of the new flavor of wings I ordered (sweet chili crunch) even though they advertise it like crazy. After changing my flavor, I was told they were bagging up my order...which took 20 more minutes. Upon getting home I found I was missing an entire order of onion rings and 4 dips! I called the restaurant and talked to a manager who was beyond rude and full of excuses. Was told I could drive 30 minutes round trip with gas being $5 a gallon to fix their mistake. No offer to compensate or make up for my inconvenience. I did not go back...and will never go back. I reported the issue to corporate who then just pushed it back on the local store who 8 days later still hasn't responded. Do yourself a favor, spend your money on local restaurants...these corporate and franchised restaurants could care less about customer service or quality products. This is for Mount Zion location: Shoutout to Brandi (with an I, not a Y!) at Buffalo Wild Wings -- she is truly top-tier. Brandi is AMAZING. She's efficient, friendly, warm, and always welcoming from the moment you walk in. My order is always right the first time, cooked exactly how I ask, and I never have to repeat myself. That alone says a lot. She makes sure I get all of my food, reminds me about my points, and her energy with her coworkers is unmatched -- you can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. (Forsyth IL location) Spent $61 and the food was terrible cold, hard dry chicken, fries and wedges. Black bean burger was extremely dry missing ingredients like grilled onions, guacamole, lettuce and looked nothing like the picture. Triple Cookie dessert came without the ice cream and chocolate drizzle, just a plain cookie alone. I Called the Buffalo wild wings location and the manager was rude wouldn't give me corporates number. Told me to look it up. When asked to put my name down to just come in at a later date. She made it an Uber Eats problem even though it was a food quality issue and not a delivery issue. Uber Eats actually delivered the STALE food on time and did what they were supposed to do. I was told to call Uber Eats and they would put me down for a meal at a later date at the actual restaurant. Basically she lied. Found out Uber Eats does not have a customer service number just a automated chat that is very selective in responses so $61 down the drain because nobody is going to eat this dry disgusting food.. So upset that our dinner was ruined and our experience was horrible. Never eating at this overpriced and overrated place again. Fast food McDonalds food quality is better. Just had the best boneless wings ever. Amber was taking care of the bar and all the tables around it. She was swamped and never quit hustling. She was so friendly and considerate it was amazing. She kept everything in order and did a great job. So friendly and polite. She is defiantly a keeper. The food was hot and the sauce was heavy and not just a splash. The wedges were so hot I had to let them cool a minute. The area was very clean considering it was warm and snow was melting. I am impressed with all they had to offer. I did a pick up order . i drove up there only for my food to not even be started cooking . they told me it would be 7 minutes . Them 7 minutes were really 30 minutes! This place is a wreck. Slow service. Missing food. Food not cooked correctly. Been 3 time in the last six months and just getting worse!

Server was not very attentive. Bacon on a burger was burnt to a crisp. Server had an attitude when we asked for replacement. I had to go find her to ask for my daughter's Mac n cheese and silverware which she forgot to order . Food overall was good. Patty melt very good. Okay, my favorite BWW is in Weslaco,Texas and my experience with Illinois BWW has been disappointing. For example, I am not sure I ever had even warm boneless wings in the Springfield Il BWW! However my experience at the Forsyth BWW was very positive! I took my mother to lunch on a Friday afternoon -- it appeared these two young woman were holding down the bar and restaurant alone. They were very busy -- however they took time to "chit chat" politely with my mother (she loves to chat with people she meets... you know the type). In addition to the staff being kind and sweet the food came quickly and it was so hot I had to let the onion rings cool (they were excellent onion rings). The wild sauce was coated thickly on my boneless wings (not just a passing glob I commonly experienced in the Springfield store). 851 Forsyth IL 62535 We were sat down at our table right away. It took 15 minutes just to get our drinks (2 iced teas and a water). When the food came out the chicken wings were ridiculously small!! I took a side by side picture of a wing next to a baby carrot and they were compatible in size. I am In complete awe that they would even let this leave the kitchen. I had to get up and find the waitress just to get refills on our drinks as we had minimal service! I am very dissatisfied with the food preparation and the service! Had to leave without eating When we left there was a large line to get seated. (The tables were half empty). I estimate if they managed to stay they may be getting their food in about 4 hours. They are understaffed and none of them are providing any info to the customers to set expectations. read more

The service was non existent. Upon entering I waited about 5 minutes before being greeted. After then being seated it took several more minutes before I was assigned a waiter. When the food came out about 38 minutes later the appetizer was cold and through the course of the meal my waiter only stopped by 1 time. Would give zero stars if I could. Sat outside for my brothers birthday and had a party of 10. After being seated we waited outside for 30 mins before my mom went inside to see if anyone was going to take our drink order. Reservation was for 6, we didn't get our food until after 7:15 pm. Most of the food was nearly inedible. No one finished their meals. The boneless chicken was so old and tough, drenched in sauce. My boyfriends bacon cheese wedges were forgotten and we reminded them and they brought out the side, which was COMPLETELY inedible like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hours no joke. Cheese was hardened to the dish, wedges looked so gross. All of the food looked like it had been made hours and hours prior. I wouldn't eat here again if someone paid me to. For the cost of the food here, it's absolutely absurd and so so disappointing. I don't know if I've ever eaten somewhere so bad before. Recently updated decor gave this B Dubs a nice pick me up but oh that staff. Walked in at 430p on a Thursday evening and find two girls at the hostess stand . No greeting to welcome us and I asked for a table for two and they looked at the table lay out thingy to figure out where to seat us in a mostly empty dining room. Seriously took them almost two minutes. This should not have been an issue had they known how to do their job. People walk in, host greets, Says hello and directs guest to an open, clean table. ‍‍ Once we are seated I notice the new menus and chairs, etc. My husband ordered a Sam Adams Oktoberfest beer from the menu only to find out they don't carry that beer, and it's a misprint on the (new) menu. ‍‍ Our waitress, Katie, was very nice and did her job well. We had excellent customer service during our visit and felt that Katie was doing the best she could with whom she was working with that day. Katie was efficient, genuine and provided excellent service to us that day. I couldn't help but watch the two girls at the hostess stand as 1) the restaurant was not yet busy, and 2) I could not believe how lazy and unprofessional they were. The brunette continued to lean on the hostess stand with her back up against the wall. The other girl was hanging out just to hang out and together they talked to each other while the young male staff kept circling past to flirt with these two girls. At one point both girls were running fingers through the hair of a young male staffs long afro.. Really? You work at a restaurant and are finger combing hair in front of customers. Gross. If there was a manager working he did not address his lazy hostess nor the young men stopping to flirt but worked around them and did his job. For the most part the food was decent and the restaurant appeared clean. It's a chain and you can't expect too much but the staff. That too cool hostess needs to move along. I walk in and wait to be seated for about 10 minutes, which is ok, but wasn't ok was that the restaurant was almost empty and and I watched as 3 employees stood around doing nothing, and when I was finally seated my party of 3 and I sat for 35 minutes! I don't know why people do not love this establishment, for Decatur this is the best late night food you can find. This place is always open til at least midnight and they serve solid wings with many levels of spiciness, some okay salad options that have some level of healthiness, and a lot of beer. The service is there and not bad at all actually, and there's always something good on TV that you can watch while you're there. Is it a fancy restaurant, no it's BWW...if you're expecting fancy then get out of Forsyth and go downtown. But really, this place deserves better than it's been rated. Our waitress was not at fault, as our order was taken soon after arriving, but she was also working the bar and outdoor tables.
