I was happy to find a very chill, but nice, park filled with happy pups and mostly responsible pet owners. No one said anything against me bringing my tiny pooch (a toy poodle) in the big dog area which is something i've been fussed at in Millbrook before (the little dog area is always empty which is a bummer). Louie has always preferred playing with bigger dogs, but I am careful to stay close just in case. A few pups were over-excited seeing such a small dog (thus scaring my pup a bit), but they all meant well and Louie was fine within a few minutes! The park was also very clean and stocked with doggy bags and water. All in all we'll definitely be back soon!

Great free dog park in downtown Garner! The dog park is located at the front of a larger…read morerecreational park. It is easy to locate with two handicap parking spaces at the main entrance and numerous other spots further down the road. The road through the park is paved. We entered the dog park through the side entrance. Both entrances have a double fence making it easy to leash and unleash your dog and prevent escapees. It seems most people bring their dogs around 5:30/6 pm weekdays. We are looking forward to attending when more dogs are here. The park has equipment, toys, water, and waste stations. The park was clean without holes and dog poop. Overall, we had a good experience here and look forward to returning!
