I did not even know we have termites in Utah. We have termites in Utah! And apparently the termites like the Spanish Fork East bench. I called Buffo's. As you might know, other bug places are constantly hounding you to upsell and to get you in a contract. Not so with Buffo's. There was never even one single word mentioned about other services. They simply came. They did their termite extermination (which is an intensive-like process), and I no longer have termites. They are very knowledgeable and expert in termite riddance. Termite termination is very expensive so you want to make sure you have people with 40 and 30 years worth of experience and absolutely know what they're doing. I've had Buffo's for 4 years now. I pay per visit, which is nice since paying all at once is a little hard at this time. I've had other companies, but I prefer Buffo's, because they "listen" to what I want done to my lawn. They DON'T do what I don't want. Last year, I had bugs in the lawn that were eating the roots. Buffo's came out and did the regular spray that included spray for these things. I called them the next week about the 'bill bugs', I'm not sure that's the right name for these things and said the lawn was still losing ground to them. Someone came out the next day with spray JUST for these particular pests--at no extra charge. My grass is all green now. The technicians/spray guys that come out are amiable and polite. I give them a check and I get a receipt as well as an email receipt. I have ZERO complaints. And if I have questions, when I call them the person that answers is always helpful. I looked at previous reviews, the last one 2 years ago. It's too bad they had a poor experience; as for me, this is my company for taking care of pest problems. I'd give them 10 stars if the rating went that high. read more

Buffo's has been amazing!! I added on their big service to a previous termite warranty. My yard gets sprayed 4x yearly as the basis. This does include spraying inside the house if requested (which we do also). We have had them out extra times due to black widow and wolf spiders sitings on our property both inside and out. Along with spraying wasps out of our flowering trees and ants around a trampoline. I have felt the value they offer has been amazing. read more

I began using Buffos in the spring of last year and have been totally satisfied with their professionalism and service. I have them treat my home in spring and fall and I never see any pests inside between treatments that are not dead. I know that should I see anything still moving I can call and they will return and take care of it. I also like that the same person comes each time who knows the problem areas of my home and makes sure that they aren't overlooked. I also feel that the cost is very reasonably priced so I can give them the highest rating. read more

I used Buffos for years to get rid of box elder bugs and they have been good. The last two years they have changed and are terrible. I paid $290 to get rid of these pesky bugs and they are everywhere in my house and outside. They came with a little portable sprayer which I could have done myself. Such a waste of money! read more

Used Buffo's for several years. They've always done a great job. They took care of mice and grubs. The service person was wonderful.

Office manager must be related, 2 months to respond no call, I called and finally got a quote they had filed away. No comment about how you must pay after waiting for 3 months to get service. John the owner manager thinks they are rated No.1 in the valley therefore they can do no wrong. John says to his potential cust. that he is right and remembers 100% of the time to tell people things and claims to have called, John needs some serious training about customer relationships, I will never do business with this company, my question is how do they keep going? I called BioGuard Pest Control this very day and they will not only bill me but will be on the job tomorrow. read more

I want to respond to the review given by the other gentleman. I have worked with Buffo's Termite & Pest Control for more then 20 years my family has used them longer then that. I personally have had John Buffo out to my home several times. He is a very friendly nice man. He also is not the owner it is a local family business that has been here for over 50 years. They have been voted the best in Utah county for over 5 years I know I voted for them along with other local business that I use. I am shocked to see you would pick a company like Bio-Guard that has one of the highest complaints by its customers and a few employees. Billing I would not bill anyone in this economy you would have to be crazy to. I am a longtime customer and they do bill me but I pay for my service when I have it done. That is the right thing to do. I don't care if its for pest control or window cleaning pay the service people. I sure you are a misguided person that no one could make happy. I love Buffo's and all the fine people that work for them. My review they are always ontime friendly clean hard workers.
