Buckle up, because this is a bit of a read. The short version is this: Technician Jacob W. is fantastic, and Bulwark has fully earned my loyalty. We first signed up with Bulwark not long after moving into our home. Then one day, a competitor knocked on my door and convinced me to switch. I will not name names, but let us just say they had my anxiety on EDGE, and eventually I wanted to Seala way from them. After three months of misrepresented products and technicians cutting corners, I called Bulwark like a drunk ex begging them to take me back. They laughed with me, said it happens all the time, and welcomed me back with no hard feelings. They even let me return with my original promotional price. Maybe they say that to all their customers, but I felt special. I have been with Bulwark for at least four years now, and every technician has been helpful, professional, and thorough. They always give me a heads-up before they arrive, but they never expect a reply. If I am busy, they just get the job done and follow up by text with a full report, including what they treated, photos of treated or concerning areas, and any tips or suggestions. On days when I do have time to chat, they always remind me that they will come back out at no charge if I see pest activity between services. One time, I was on vacation and asked the technician if he would spray my garage if I opened it remotely. Of course, he said yes. He let me know when he was done so I could close it, then double-checked that I received his message when I did not reply right away. For the record, I was on Space Mountain. That is the kind of service Bulwark provides. But I digress. This review is supposed to be about Jacob W. I know Jacob W. probably gets cool points, money, a gold star, or whatever for being mentioned by name, but that is not why I am writing this. I am writing it because Jacob was just as great as every other Bulwark technician, with one extra bonus... when he arrived, I was carrying in my Costco delivery, and he genuinely offered to help bring it inside. Not in a "please mention this in a review" kind of way. He actually started reaching out to help. Of course, it was hot outside, so I was not about to make the poor guy haul my groceries, too. But he still gave me a clear rundown of the treatment, I topped off his water bottle, and he got to work. He cut absolutely no corners. At the end, he gave me a verbal report, including mentioning the wasp nest he knocked down that I didn't know about, which means he basically preemptively saved me from getting stung. Absolute legend. Even after giving me the verbal report, he still took the time to send everything by text as well. About an hour later, I was driving to my neighbor's house a few blocks away, and who did I see? Jacob W. And this man was executing a flawless parallel parking job. Completely unrelated to pest control, but frankly, I feel like it says a lot about his character. (I swear this part is completely true. Northern Daybreak on our narrow streets with too many cars always parked on them.) Jacob W. was kind, genuine, professional, and thorough. Now, as I understand it, there is more than one Jacob technician. This review is specifically for Jacob W. The rest of the Jacob alphabet should thank him, because W is making all Jacobs look good. Whatever reward, bonus, or kickback Jacob W. gets for this review, please add a little extra. this company doesn't value their customers long term. They informed me their conditions have changed since my original contract which they couldn't find and I had to provide multiple times to them. I was told by upper management that my contract could continue and they would note that in my account. Inevitably, they would once again try and up sell me on rodent services even though that's what I signed up for. During treatments, techs would place more bait boxes as I had a significant rodent problem and they never mentioned I had exceeded the number allowed or would have to pay more. Then the most recent service said that is extra and that I cannot have that many bait boxes without paying more. They also increased my quarterly fee without telling me and after a long conversation they ended up dropping my fee $25 to keep me as a customer. Ultimately, I had a very upleasant conversation with Bouque Roberts, a supervisor who told me, "I don't care that you're pissed off and neither does Bulwark." I canceled my service with this joke of a company on the spot. Find local businesses, they are more attuned to the local pests and needs of their customers and will provide a higher quality customer service experience. DON'T USE BULWARK. read more

I've been a customer of Bulwark for several years and through three different houses. We first signed up for them after a bad experience with another pest control company where we got locked into an expensive contract and they did not get rid of the spiders and voles. We were nervous to try another company but Bulwark has been consistently fantastic at addressing all of our concerns. At our last house you could see where voles dug up our neighbors yards but never touched our yard. I haven't had spiders, ants or seen any pests after Bulwark has treated my properties. After the first treatment they come back every few months and treat around the outside of my house. I don't even need to be there unless they need to update the treatment inside the house. All in all Bulwark has been wonderful. Today Conner came by to give my new house its first treatment. He was very respectful and knowledgeable about the pests common to my neighborhood. I'm new-ish to Utah and especially new to living in a mountainous place with so many...critters lurking around. I signed up for Bulwark's pest control membership nearly a year ago when I moved in and have had great service ever since. The technicians are fantastic. Since it's the summer, that means a lot of wasps flying around. Noah M. came out today to service my property and made sure to talk to me about any issues I might be having or anything I'm seeing around the property and made sure to address everything. I have a high roofline in the back due to a walkout basement and he was able to knock down all the webs and clear out a small wasps nest that had been built since the last visit about 6 weeks ago. I'm extremely satisfied with the service I've received from Bulwark and intend to keep it going--it's been so great living in my home without all the little outdoor pests making life challenging! read more

I had service from bulwark on the 4th of March and my tech guy was Travis he is my regular and I appreciate him so much he has come to my house several times over the years and he is very good I wouldn't trade him for nothing he does his job very well and he's on time every time he comes and he does his job quickly and professionally and he always talks to me if I have any issues or any problems with any kind of spiders or any kind of bug issues and he takes care of it professionally and responsibility concerning I have two dogs and make sure everything is safe for my fur babies and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for being a good-hearted person and making sure everything is safe thank you for being such a good person Travis and such a good-hearted working person. I am a first time homeowner and had no idea where to start with pest control. But Bulwark was exceptional from the start. I sent a request for a quote on a Sunday and received a call minutes later. A tech was scheduled for Tuesday morning, a quick turnaround. Our tech, Spencer showed up during the appointment window and was very courteous. I have two anxious dogs and he was patient while I calmed them down. Spencer listened to my concerns and explained how he would address each of them. He even went into the crawl space to check out a hornet's nest. Some people might be concerned that you sign a year-long service agreement and pay a monthly fee. But they are scheduled every other month and will service between visits if you still have issues with pests. Definitely worth it! read more

This company has been good to me for years now. They do a great job, and if something happens between treatments just call and its handled for free. I have had to do this a few times in the past, and it was taken care of quickly. I was impressed because some companies claim this, and a pain to get them back. This was not the case. They are also veteran friendly, and take care of us. Recently Conner came to the house, and did a great job. Plus a cool personality and very friendly. Ive never had a issue with them. The piece of mind of free retreatments if something cones back, or wasp nests show up they handle it. Im a disabled veteran so its nice to know they stand by their service. Bulwark Exterminating people approached me as I pulled into the driveway of a newly constructed property for pest control service. I signed up and the next door Kyle Moore showed up on time and fully equipped. He put on the shoe cover that he brought himself before walking into the house. He demonstrated in action and explained in detail what spray he should use for what purpose. He answered patiently all the questions I had as a new homeowner. After indoor spraying, outdoor spraying, laying bait traps, and removing a wasp nest, he handed over a summary receipt with details on every pest product used during the service.
