Recently, there have been some delays in their scheduling, requiring us to adjust our plans to accommodate them. However, we appreciate their efforts to make areas accessible once they arrive. When scheduling, it's a good idea to allow for a potential delay which can be a bit challenging for planning. It seems there is room for improvement in communication between the service team and the technicians regarding their arrival times. Make sure you communicate and validate times. Despite these scheduling issues, the technicians are generally very reliable, with and providing excellent service. I would rate the overall service at 4.7 stars, but the individual technicians often deserve 4.9 to 5.0+ stars, depending on who comes out. There are very good technicians in the team. We appreciate Thorns hard work to come out and keep our house up to date with their service. The service technicians always wear foot coverings when they work on the inside of the home. I contacted Thorn with a pigeon problem on my roof; they recommended installing mesh in our eaves to abate them for $925. The pigeons broke through them within a few days. Thorn came back to fix it but the pigeons kept breaking them. Kirk kept telling me the pigeons would eventually move on to another location but they never did. I've tried for over a month to get them back over here since we now have a flock living on our roof making a huge mess, and haven't heard back from anyone. We were looking for a new pest control company after having marginal results from a different company. We had gone more than 6 months without any service and decided even marginal would be better but we took the time to look at what other services were available. At came down to 2 options. I decided that something about what I read on some of the reviews that I would give Thorn a try. Honestly, I was absolutely floored by the positive way that the receptionist answered the phone. I thought it might just be her personality but even then after having a few interaction over the phone and then with the technicians I would almost believe it as a company policy to always be pleasant. I had a second visit scheduled for ant treatment and when the tech arrived I pointed out a couple other areas that I discovered spiders and wasps including a nest that has started in a tree near the house. Not only was he happy to take care of it he made sure there wouldn't be any issues removing it from the tree. We have only just started with Thorn but even if a problem arise I can't help but think it will be a pleasant experience regardless. Over and above their attitude the service is impeccable as well. Kevin came to my apartment with dogs trained to smell the faremones of bed bugs. I have used Thorn Pest solutions for a total of 3 yrs. I was introduced to them by an apartment management company because I had inherited a bedbug problem. The first time I met them, I hated them. They came in and made a mess out of my house. They had to do this to make sure that every item in my house had been treated. I spent about a week putting my house together again. I then saw bed bugs within 2 days from the original treatment but the very next day, they were back and they actually sprayed and put a dust powder everywhere (the first time they heated my entire house). I have not seen any bedbugs in 3 yrs but I continue to use them in my new place for the ants, bees, wasps and anything in between. They are good people to work with, call you before they come out and if you have a problem, they will be back to fix it. HIGHLY recommend this company. read more

I cannot believe how bad of a job they have done. As soon as we walked back into our home we were appalled to see the mess they left. They seemed to have thrown everything they could get their hands on anywhere they wanted. All of the furniture was moved around haphazardly. They're were boxes of items dumped onto the floor in nearly every room. I couldn't be more upset with this awful business, especially when they are getting paid so much. read more

These guys were very nice and on time with their service, but they guaranteed no spiders for 60 days and I say 4 within 2 days. I sent a request for them to spray again but I have not heard anything back and it has been 2 weeks. read more
