As an adult, I keep track of my appointments and dont want to be infantilized. If you don't confirm an appointment by the time they want, they will cancel your slot and make you an 'anytime appointment'. I understand needing a schedule, but I really dont like threats. Additionally, they just didn't show up for an appointment they pestered me about and when i contacted them at 6pm, i got an 'oopsie' reply from a third party person who said i'd be contacted by the office. That was several months ago so.... All in all I just didn't appreciate how I was treated.

We lived in a rural neighborhood with almost 7 acres and bugs were definitely not shy about not having any boundaries in or out of our home! But AJB saved us in a big way! They arrived on time as promised after I arranged an appointment. Both Kyle and his coworker were kind and well-mannered. They investigated the issues we were encountering after taking a look around the house. They also dealt with the issues. I was quite impressed. They spent approximately an hour on my initial session and were extremely thorough. I'm very glad we made the transition to them. We previously used another firm, which I won't name, we paid more nut they did nothing. I discovered that the technician was not performing his job when we began to have an ant invasion. Recently, I noticed a small but persistent ant problem in my home --just enough ants to be noticeable --so I called Orkin and requested a re-spray. Before the technician went into my bathroom, I specifically told him not to spray my orchids. These were established plants I had successfully cared for for approximately 30 years. After that service, what I found was appalling. The bathroom shelf was covered with an enormous number of dead ants. The bathroom shelf was covered with an enormous number of dead ants. Dead ants were all over the outsides of my orchid pots, with live ants continuing to crawl in and around them. My orchids began rapidly deteriorating. One is now clearly dying and dropping yellow-brown leaves. And the original ant problem was not solved. It became dramatically worse. Hundreds of ants got onto and into my Waterpik. A nightmare. I had to throw it away and buy a new one ıy waterpik--more ants than i have ever seen - ... the other night I had left small Coke on my nightstand after taking only two sips. Approximately two hours later, I returned to find it crawling with ants. So far, I estimate that replacing damaged or contaminated property, including my orchids and Waterpik, will cost me approximately $200. The orchids alone now cost at least $40 each, but their replacement price does not reflect the fact that I had successfully cared for these plants for decades. I complained to Orkin and expected a return call from Chris, the service manager. I never received one. Then, shortly after 8:00 this morning, someone was at my door and to my astonishment it was Nathan W. I told him no circumstance this was he ever welcome in my house again. I told him him clearly that he would never my home again, an not let him inside. That was the final straw. What I find most unacceptable is Orkin's handling of the complaint itself. A customer of approximately 30 years reported a serious service problem, received no promised follow-up from management, and then had the very same technician sent back to her home. I have photographs documenting the bathroom shelf, the orchid pots, the enormous number of ants, and the continuing infestation. After approximately three decades as a loyal paying customer, 1 expected profes nalism, accountability, and instead, I got damaged property and loss of property. After being a customer for thirty years mostly from the Tyler office this has as a cardiac patient upset me greatly Stephanie O For clarity: I refused service TODAY because Orkin sent back the same technician I had already complained about.
