I bookmarked these guys months ago and planned a trip to New Orleans just to eat their crawfish! We went twice in the 4 days we were here from Az and I can't rave about them enough. Everyone is super friendly and they are doing things right. First time was 2 lbs of Viet crawfish (amazing) 2 lbs of Cajun, 2 crabs, 12 charred oysters. Sat at the outdoor seating area that Miel brewery provided. Also super nice people. Went back two days later for another 2 lbs of Viet crawfish and 12 oysters. If I lived here I would be seeing them every weekend and catering them for every holiday. Haha

Really delicious viet Cajun crawfish from this pop up. The first time I had them last year , the flavor was immaculate. I love the fixings they have with it too. This year it was still good but the sauce wasn't popping out to much like last time. The oysters were so freaking good, I'm mad I didn't get more.

    2 pounds of crawfish

The line was wrapped around the building but it wasn't too bad. I believe I waited for about 45/50 minutes to place my order and then maybe another 10/15 minutes to get my order. I got the mix and it was interesting that they put meatballs instead of sausage in there. It was surprisingly good. The crawfish were a good size and they weren't too hot.

5 lbs of Traditional flavor with meatballs and corn. Meatballs were amazing!

Great group of guys. Very welcoming. Traditional was my favorite. Viet flavor was good also. GET THERE EARLY! Will definite return next time I'm in NOLA. Great vibe! 11/10

Coming to NOLA I knew I wanted to try buggin out and it did not disappoint! For the price they load you on with a ton of crawfish, packed with flavor. My only complaint is I had a ton of garlics in my box and only had one potato and one corn. Flavor wise though this was the best crawfish I ever had, super juicy and had a nice clove flavor. I'd 100% come back and visit here if I'm ever in the area again.

What a fantastic meal served up from Buggin Out Boils. We caught them at a pop up event this last weekend. We got 5lb of the traditional crawfish and a 1/2 dozen chargrilled oysters. Very fair prices on both the crawdaddies and oysters. Crawfish were great cooked perfectly, the juice was great. Next time I'd try the more spiced version just to try something different traditional were fantastic though. The oysters were great, wish it came with a hunk of bread to soak up that extra butter but the size and quality were great! Definitely would order again. Check them out!!!

I was craving crawfish yesterday, and went to Rousses but they were out. On TikTok I saw this woman talk about how good the crawfish was at buggin out boils. So I looked to see if they were boiling and they were. When I pulled up the line was already long. I decided to wait anyways. The line did move fairly quickly. I ordered 2lbs Traditional and 2lbs Viet-Cajun to go. Everyone was very friendly with smiles on their faces!! I will say I preferred the Viet-Cajun over the traditional, it had great flavor and some spice to it. The only thing I wish they had and maybe I missed it was a dipping sauce. I would definitely get crawfish from them again, but I would get there earlier so I can be one of the first in line lol.

We went to Miel's Brewery and had crawfish by Buggin' Out Boils, for the first time. I it did not disappoint. Very good flavouring .

This was our first stop after we landed in New Orleans. I had been looking forward to it for months and it did not disappoint! The viet-cajun crawfish were the best meal our entire trip. I'm writing this back home missing them! My husband who has tried crawfish a few times and maintained he "didn't like crawfish" was converted! Turns out he had just never tried Casey's! I know the season is just about over, but the next chance you get to try these, DO IT! You're only doing yourself a disservice by missing out on some seriously delicious crawfish.

You will not pick a better way to enjoy a private crawfish boil in NOLA! Casey knows how to make a mean batch of crawfish, and you'll never want to eat a meatball from anywhere else ever again! Highly rec booking him if you're from out of state; the crawfish isn't too spicy and it's perfect for newbies! If you're an experienced crawfish connoisseur, I'm sure he can turn the heat up for you too! Casey made more than just crawfish, he was easy going and fit the vibe of our party just right!

I can't say anything negative about this company!! They were AMAZING!! We were on a bachelorette party to NOLA and had spoken to a bunch of different companies. Went with Buggin' Out Boils and it did not disappoint! The crawfish were huge. Everything was flavorful. We had a vegetarian in the group and they provided the vegetarian friendly part of the boil separately. Would highly recommend! @stl.foodie

I put some feelers out on ThumbTack and I was so very lucky to have Justin from Toulouse Gourmet respond to my request. I needed food for about 50 people for a luncheon. When Tiffany arrived with the food, I was so nervous because it didn't seem like it was going to be enough food. But once we opened the trays, the food just kept coming! I honestly was reminded of the story of the loaves and fishes. And it was all DELICIOUS! Everyone raved about the jambalaya. I think it might have been my favorite since getting here. Anyway..... Fast forward a few months and I needed a caterer again, but this time for heavy appetizers for an evening event for 150 people. Justin gave me a terrific estimate that I was very comfortable with. Tiffany once again delivered the food right on time and helped me set up. They also provided disposable plates and forks and napkins and serving utensils. The food was OUTSTANDING! Andouille Puffs, teriyaki meatballs, hummus and pita.....all of the food was delicious. The entire party couldn't stop talking about the food. And the doberge mini cakes??? Ridiculous. So good!! Justin and Toulouse will be a regular go-to for our events. Excellent food and outstanding service make for a delightful catering experience. Thank you!!!

I was referred to Chez Nous by a friend from New Orleans when I was looking for a caterer for my son's medical school graduation celebration. We expected about 30 guests, most of whom were coming from out of town and were excited to experience New Orleans food. The initial communication with the owner was good. I received an extensive menu, reviewed the options with my son, who considers himself a "foodie," and we ultimately agreed on a menu that included tea sandwiches, smothered turnip greens, grillades, cheese grits, baked brie, bourbon-and-brown-sugar ham with buttermilk biscuits, hummingbird cake, and spinach salad. A couple of months before the celebration, my brother and his wife joined me in New Orleans for Match Day. While we were there, we stopped by Chez Nous to introduce ourselves and make sure everything was on track. Unfortunately, the reception by Ben, the owner was very cold and made us feel as though we were intruding rather than welcome guests. I chose to give the owner the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was simply a bad day. With the graduation only about 45 days away, I also decided not to start over with another caterer. We confirmed delivery for May 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. On the day of the celebration, I had someone at the house by noon to receive the food. The caterer actually arrived around 1:00 p.m., which was earlier than expected, and I appreciated that. Unfortunately, the food itself was a major disappointment. Several dishes--including the greens, grillades, and cheese grits--were excessively salty. The tea sandwiches and biscuits were dry. The baked brie with fresh fruit was good, but the spinach salad was not prepared as requested. I specifically asked for the feta to be served on the side because we had a vegan guest, but the feta was mixed throughout the salad. The biggest disappointment was the hummingbird cake. It was essentially inedible. The cake appeared to be a sheet cake with an extremely thick layer of icing, while the cake itself was so soggy that it appeared underbaked. No one ate it, and we ultimately had to throw it away the following day. After the celebration, I contacted the owner to express my concerns about the quality of the food. I never received a response. I also found it surprising that no one from Chez Nous followed up afterward to ask how the food or service had been. Given that this was an important milestone for my son and a significant catering order, I expected at least some acknowledgment or concern when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I recognize that every business can have an off day, and I generally try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I was also particularly surprised by my experience because Chez Nous has many positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to those expectations. I will give three stars solely because the food arrived earlier than the agreed-upon delivery time. However, the quality of much of the food, the failure to accommodate the dietary request, the disappointing cake, and most importantly, the lack of any response to my concerns left me very disappointed. This was supposed to be a memorable celebration of my son's tremendous accomplishment. I wanted to provide our family and guests with a wonderful New Orleans culinary experience. Sadly, the catering experience became one of the few negative aspects of an otherwise wonderful graduation weekend.
