Well... we finally got my girlfriend the Sanrio Tropical Hello Kitty doll that she's been wanting for a while now. I can tell you that the service while we were there was fantastic (even though I could see an issue with the staffing). The girl that took care of us was friendly and made us do all the cheesy (but cute) stuff that they'd have any child do when making their own doll. The store is laid out very well to help you find whatever accessories you're looking for (we were looking for the Jedi outfit). Surprisingly, this location and all other Build-A-Bear Workshops have restrooms (probably for private parties). But, the door is usually open so I can imagine that it's for public use if needed. Now to the only bad about this (and probably other locations)... Due to the long process that the associates are required to do during checkout, it can be a very long wait just to purchase your new stuffed friend. It seems like they combat this by having two associates working on the same shift, but one of the associates (we were told it was the manager) went on break while we were in line. Since there was 4 people doing separate purchases, the girl (and only associate available) was tied up at the register while another customer was waiting a long time for their stuffed animal to be assembled. I really wish they could streamline this process a little better (and did they just ask me to donate to two different causes at checkout??). Anyhow, besides that last issue I can say that the service is top notch and will likely come back when my girlfriend is craving the next cutest thing P.S. (BABW, please make a Sackboy -Little Big Planet game- doll, we would buy two. I swear.) :D

    Fun!

They do host birthday parties, so you can always call to check if they have open play available that day. It's very similar to Cheeky Monkeys, but slightly better. First off, entrance fee is for the entire day, and not on an hourly basis. I also like that the play area is very open in the sense that you don't feel crammed in with a whole bunch of kids and parents. If a kid is climbing up the play structure, your child is visible the entire time, except when they're going through a solid tunnel or slide of course. You can literally walk to the back of the play structure to follow your child the entire way through. It's the perfect place for toddlers. They have a small trampoline area. Some small slides for the little ones, and larger slides for the older kids. Soft play area for infants as well. My son absolutely loves the coupe ride-on cars they have all around. Restroom could use some improvement. They have a changing area. However, toilet paper wasn't replaced during busy times. It would be nice to have someone check the restroom as dirty diapers are occasionally disposed improperly, and need some tidying up. Overall, this is a great indoor play area, especially since it is getting super hot outside.

There were bigger kids that were kinda running a muck and i was scared they were going to accidentally push him off that slide. There is plenty of seating area for parties/groups. The place was clean and bathrooms were clean as well. The location could be better, but there was plenty of parking outside.

They don't take cash so plan ahead (they do have e a machine that will convert your cash to a card if you need). We got the basic package (blue) for my ten year old and 13 of his friends for a birthday. We only stayed about 2 hours and for the blue pass that seemed like plenty. The kids got to do bumper cars, the battle area (like laser tag but with foam balls), the slides, the ball pit, the jumping area, and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. All in all the spot is clean, staffed well and a fun kids entertainment spot. We didn't do the zip lining or ropes courses but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything either.

I had a terrible experience at this Alleycats location with the manager and one of their employees…read more My nephew wanted to go rock climbing and after my sister signed their form my nephew was standing near the rock wall ready to be harnessed when their employee, who already seemed to be in a bad mood since we asked to use the rock wall given it was pretty slow that afternoon (at around 5-5:30 ish), came over and pushed him away from the wall even though my nephew wasn't doing anything. He only apologized once my sister told him not to touch my nephew and that he is disabled (autism) but he never tried to apologize until my sister confronted him. My nephew still wanted to climb as he wasn't aware what that man did to him was unjustified and wrong. My sister went to the manager and explained the situation but the manager (picture below: woman with short black hair and glasses) said that she was watching everything and began saying it was a parents responsibility to watch over ones child, my sister agreed with that and said that either way the man had no reason to push my nephew and that the correct response would've been to talk with her about it. The manager insisted their employee did nothing wrong. My sister recorded everything and told the manager this and also told her she wanted a refund. We went to the front desk and the manager came back with a completely different story now, she said that she spoke with her employee and that he said he never pushed my nephew. My sister then reminded her that she said she had been watching everything. She is a liar who didn't bother looking at the security cameras after my sister asked her to. She never bothered with any kind of apology even though her later statements imply she wasn't present at the time of the incident and she wasn't even sure about what had happened. This was overall a terrible experience that could've been resolved had the manager taken some responsibility and had not tried to justify the actions of a grown man towards a child with autism. This goes to show that they do not care for any child disabled or not. They don't train their employees to handle children with care and respect that they deserve. The employee didn't even know how to properly harness my nephew who despite all his excitement was standing still, he had to ask my sister to help him. From the manager to the red head employee, all of them handled this wrong and I will never come back. I hope everyone is careful with their children in their care given the manager was willing to defend a man who's first instinct is to push a child instead of talking to a parent. My sister was right next to my nephew when everything happened, I was sitting right there too and my nephew's only emotion was excitement even after he was pushed. Do better ALLEYCATS and employ better people for the safety of children.
