It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. A nostalgic stop, but not quite the full experience of the original Toys"R"Us. The guy at the front door was really nice.

I was a little surprised how messy the store was. I guess it had been busy and the clutter was from that? I found a few bargains, even when I was rushing. They have quite the collection tucked into a small space while still having room to browse and find things. They will also buy items from you, just remember they are a business you aren't going to get the same as if you sell it yourself. But that's the point of selling it to them. I had to introduce myself and explain I was there to inquire about selling some Pokémon cards. He then told me they only buy in bulk. Fine - I actually came in with a huge collection plus a rare Dragonite V Alternate Art 192/203 (Evolving Skies Full Art Alt Art). SECOND - I asked if he wanted to at least look at the rare card. He declined without hesitation, then added that shops "only pay 20%-30% of the value." That is completely FALSE. THIRD - After all of this, I said "okay" and wrapped it up. But was I thanked for coming in? Was I told "have a good day" or even a simple "bye"? Nope. Just another blank stare. This shop clearly does not value its customers or show even the bare minimum of courtesy. Even if they don't want to purchase something, the least they could do is provide basic customer service. They had new and vintage floppies, covering publishers from Marvel to Image, however they had no books. They had plenty of toys and lots of random funko pops from various media. Had a hiccup with the machine when I brought it home, so I took it back. They were as friendly as can be and tested it with me to make sure everything was working as expected.
