How can grandma say no :)
    Angelica G.

Would have been 5 star but one it was a Friday and a special on build a bears and they had one girl running the machine. My grandbaby and i waited from 4:10pm to 5:17pm. That was just to get it stuffed we still had to wait to pay luckly the girl asked another cashier to check us out because my 4 year old needed to go potty and came to find out they have NO RESTROOM for the children. Do you know how hard it is to tell a 4 year old to hold it. Then we still had to run around a few stores find an escalator to go up run down the hall find the restroom. I felt real bad telling my 4 year old grandbaby to hold it and run. I am sure they could have better management when they have this specials and I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY NO CHILDREN RESTROOM. Really people are dropping more than $100 for a bear at least accommodate the children by having a restroom or have more staff to control the floor so kids don't have to wait to go else where to the restroom. All in all not a good experience. Thank you for reading. Have a bless day :)

One of coolest stores for kids in North Star Mall is Build-A-Bear Workshop. Build-A-Bear always makes my boys happy, and makes them kids again. To see their own stuffed animals specially made for them excites them. I have bought about 4 different stuffed toys from Build-A-Bear over the past years. When I first took my kids to Build-A-Bear I remember spending well over $50 for two bears one with clothes one without. I remember the lower priced stuffed animals really look like lower priced, cheap, sad stuffed animals. Forward some years to last week; I was glad to see the lower priced stuffed animals looking like something my boys may want. As a matter of fact, that's exactly what my boys picked by themselves two stuffed dogs going for $12 each. I was glad to see Build-A-Bear offered a good product for that price. In addition to the price; all stuffed animals were hypoallergenic. But, on the bad side Build-A-Bear can still get really expensive, and become a parents nightmare. I would suggest never go during peak shopping seasons, cause forget it you will end up paying well over what you wanted to spend with all the clothes, and accessories they have. For this reason I gave them 4 stars.

Birthday bear and the happiest little girl ever!

They are slow like they are portrayed. They are nocturnal. They eat veggies and fruit. They poop once a week and only at night. Who would have know ? I didn't book this experience, but the handler was accommodating. We were able to meet Osa in her environment, but I do understand that they can take her to your home too. Definitely a great experience It's my understanding, that these animals are all rescued.

However, when we asked for a paper agreement to hold the date, she said they "didn't usually do them." When we insisted that for a corporate event with lots of money on the line (our entire booth is supposed to be themed around the sloth), we needed at least SOME kind of agreement and deposit in place, she promised multiple times across two phone calls to send us something...but never did. Two different members of our team tried patiently to follow up with her for OVER THREE WEEKS via email, phone, and text message. We didn't even get the courtesy of a simple message back saying she couldn't do it, and frankly, it left us in a difficult position and created reputation risk for us with other vendors. I absolutely cannot recommend this mobile zoo if you need someone reliable for your event, and candidly, the lack of responsiveness we received is hard NOT to perceive as extremely rude. It's sad, too -- a member of our team apparently saw this zoo present at a different event and said it was good. But how would you even know they were going to show up? I see they have lots of good reviews, but they all seem to be old. I can only guess they must be missing whatever management they used to have. All around just a huge bummer.

The carousel was also super fun and the only ride where parents are allowed on (and for free with your child). I like the carousel has a more of a galloping motion instead of a straight up and down motion. We came on the weekend after Christmas in the early afternoon and spent about 1.5 hours here. They dont have attendants at each ride but it's easy to get their attention if they aren't at a ride that you want to go on. It's not busy by any means, but there were a few kids on most rides with her. No Lines which is important for an impatient kid! Overall, great for the 3-6yo age range! Brings back all the nostalgia too of when I was a kid and went on these rides! Happy 100 anniversary Kiddie Park!

It's been around since the 1920's and my friend whose daughter's birthday we went to said her AND her Mom had been there before! 2 generations! That was fascinating to me! Apparently they moved it from its original location and now it's next to the zoo and u think it's actually owned by the zoo. It has a very very vintage feel almost spooky lol but it was a very fun experience! My daughter had a blast and I will definitely be bringing her back! One last thing, parking is a challenge! We parked in the zoo free parking next to the brackenridge park and it was so crowded and busy! We eventually found parking. I still highly recommend!
