First a girl came a few times and helped me go through my things...what needed to be disposed of, what could be donated and what I could bring with me (which was more than I expected). The day before the move, a group came and packed everything; the day of the move, the moving company came and a girl came and packed my food, while another group went to my new apartment to arrange everything. They even told me to go have lunch while they worked. I am thoroughly impressed with their service and can't begin to imagine how I could have done the move without them.

These guys were incredibly friendly, cheerful and efficient and went way beyond the call of duty--they were unloading a container box at a flat rate, yet they did extra things that were definitely not within the job description, like moving things into two different buildings and then re-moving some items when we discovered we made a mistake. Bill and Jamie. Be sure to ask for them by name. I have to deduct a star for Clark's front office operation, however. They were the destination warehouse for my Door-to-Door move and several calls to them were not returned. The expeditor told me this is unusual, so hopefully a temporary problem.

Initially, I really liked the sales team that came and did the estimate. However, they sent a few very unprofessional members to move our apartment and they did not respect our stuff at all. Throwing boxes around, fooling around with our stuff, not taking care for valuable items. We ended up with many damaged items. Also, in agreement with the commenter below, it's very much a bait and switch. As with many movers, they charm you with the initial prices and personality, but they don't represent how the process will go well at all. I was told many times how much space my stuff would take up and then they spread all my stuff out to take up more space and charge me more. My entire apartment fit in 1/2 a small truck (there was another load in there already) and when it arrived at my destination they spread it out into a whole truck worth of space and the last crate has a couple boxes on the floor. No support from their parent company Mayflower either. It sounds like maybe a small move worked for people, but don't trust them with big moves. Their equipment was also old and they don't offer any "extras" included in the deal like boxes, packing supplies, etc. There are so many movers in the area that friends had better luck with, go somewhere else.

Several weeks ago, I messaged them through their website to get some additional information and pricing before setting up a (required) appointment; I NEVER heard anything back. We went to Home Depot and to Lowe's but decided to check out Colonie Block also. We ended our search there. The gentleman who waited on us was very knowledgeable and helped us figure out what we would need for the project. Also they had a much better selection of patio pavers than the big box stores and the prices were comparable. But the very best part was the money he saved us by saying,"You don't want to put those pavers under a hot tub where no one will ever see them". We got heavy duty cement blocks that were each cheaper by $5 than the decorative pavers. We would never have thought of that ourselves and it added up to a significant savings. Also when we decided to extend the area we were able to get additional pavers without buying a whole pallet. We're really glad we gave them a try

They…read moredidn't bother wrapping my furniture properly--my couch cushions were literally falling off as they carried it and were put into the truck completely unwrapped. The movers also kept complaining about heavy items, which made the whole process feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. They also caused damage and then tried to hide. They broke a leg off my bed, said nothing, and left the broken leg on the floor under the bed as if I wouldn't notice. They also dropped a fragile box down the stairs and later insisted they "checked everything" and nothing was broken, which was simply untrue. Their solution to fixing the bed was even more unacceptable. They sent someone out to put epoxy on a part that had previously been soldered, which didn't work at all. Now I'm left with a damaged bed, a box of shards of glass that was previously worth hundreds and a terrible overall experience.

I had to call back because the new quote hadn't been sent to my email. Called and confirmed with Tony again and had the quote sent to my email and I signed it. No phone calls to confirm. Movers didn't show up the day of the move after getting the permits for no parking, arranging time off of work and family members to help. Don't waste your time on this company, you'll be running around doing it all on your own anyway.
