I want a place that my daughter was going to go to school where she can grow up with kids around her that feel like family. The school is kept extremely clean, they are very good at communicating, and I love the events they do for all the children. I highly recommend this school to anyone when they ask me. There will be no other place I would want my daughter to be!

My kids went there several years ago and although initially we were very happy with the nursery and…read morepre-k, we later discovered the major neglect taking place at all levels. Examples include - 15 kids in a class left uncared for by aides, daily fights and bullying between kids that is left unaddressed (leaving our kids with constant bruises and cuts) and getting excuses like "boys will be boys", teachers handling children roughly, administrators lying about things that happened or didn't - thank goodness for the videos that caught them in major lies, baby crying for hours in nursery without response from caregivers, caregivers badmouthing babies. I watched my kid being shoved to the ground from behind by another kid in the playground, who was a head taller than him, right in front of the teacher and the teacher did nothing. I watched a kid hit my son 3 feet away from the teacher who ignored them and then when he came to her bleeding, she sent him back to his table. I saw a teacher grabbing my child at the age of 2 and roughly pushing him into a chair because he got up when he wasn't supposed to. I heard a baby cry for hours with no one consoling them. We took our kids out when we realized that all our concerns were true and not our imagination. When you feel like things aren't adding up and your kid goes from a sweet calm child to an aggressive and anxious kid, but you are being gaslit by the school and you can't quite put your finger on what is causing it - question their environment and go with your gut! We are still dealing with the aftermath of our childs' formative experience at Rainbow Montessori. Remember, it is at a young age that many of their behavioral traits are formed. So if your kid has a daily experience of physical abuse, caregiver neglect and an overall need to be in flight or flight mode, it will shape their future behavior and experiences in life. This was a few years ago and things may have changed, but I wouldn't count on it as long as the admins haven't changed. If you are considering the school, it would be advisable to review videos of a typical day before enrolling.

I would not recommend this daycare based on my family's experience. From the moment I toured the…read morefacility, I had concerns. During the tour, I witnessed a teacher raising their voice at a 2-year-old, which immediately left me questioning the environment and the level of training provided to the staff. I know some teachers can give tough love I gave it the benefit of doubt. My biggest concern came after my 3-year-old attended. I was informed by a staff member that he had made a sexual gesture or comment. As his parent, I know the behavior they were referring to was simply him picking his nose and putting his finger in his mouth--a gross but very typical behavior for a 3-year-old the other teacher even came out as I was extremely concerned to say it was innocent. The teacher accusing my son attacked me none the less at pick up not even a hello. The situation was handled in an extremely unprofessional manner, and I was shocked that such a serious accusation was made instead of approaching it with appropriate understanding of normal toddler development. What was equally disappointing was the lack of communication afterward. After this incident was reported to management, neither the director nor anyone from administration reached out to check on my child, discuss the situation, or address my concerns. That level of follow-up and accountability was completely absent. In my opinion, the facility also appeared unclean, and the overall professionalism of the staff did not inspire confidence. After this experience, I chose not to send my son back and enrolled him elsewhere. The difference in professionalism, communication, and care has been night and day. I also encourage parents to review the daycare's inspection history and any licensing violations through the New Jersey child care licensing records before making a decision. It's important to do your research and make an informed choice about where you entrust your child. Every child deserves to be cared for by patient, well-trained professionals in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

My daughter attended this daycare for 4 days (Clifton location). This daycare is very unorganized,…read morethe caregivers are not professional and don't seem to be experienced, some don't seem to love kids or just persons that you can trust with your kids specially with infants. They make you fill out so many forms about your babies schedule and instructions to just do whatever they want, feed them when they want as well as changing their diapers. They would put products on my baby's skin without my authorization. If you call during the day to see how your child is doing, they would get annoyed and give you attitude. All they want is money, don't let them trick you with the security systems and nice daycare, they do not care about the kids. All of the staff look unhappy and not wanting to do their jobs. I DO NOT recommend this daycare to NO one. Don't trust them specially with vulnerable infants. My experience was awful, I gave them time to put their shit together and spoke to everyone, even the director, to avoid writing this review and having to switch daycare. I think I trusted this facility way too much and had very high expectations, this is why now I'm so disappointed. My baby's first day when I picked up my 3mon old baby her pants were all wet of pee, my daughter was left alone in a corner awake in a swing far away from the other kids and unattended by the teachers, when I grabbed her she was freezing, the air conditioner was too low so when I carried her she was shaking, she was only given 2 bottles of milk during the full 8 hours that she was there (my baby eats a lot) I told them her eat schedule and wrote everything down on a form they provided, she usually eats every 2 hours and even before. When I saw her pants wet and felt how cold she was I asked the teacher (Jayda/Jayra whatever her name is) her answer was "well I just changed her diaper!" (with a nasty attitude) I replied by showing her my baby's pants so she can notice the wetness on it (she never made eye contact) she proceed with grabbing a tablet and slamming it in front of me to show the times she was supposedly changed but that doesn't really means she was changed on time cuz she can document what ever she wants on there and not necessarily be done. I was so irritated that I did not react any other way then just grab my baby and leave the center with my eyes full of tears. After I got home I called and spoke to the manager (Ashley I believe is her name) the director (Kimberly) was also aware, supposedly everything was gonna change but I was already concerned about my daughters safety and treatment. The next day that teacher (Jayda/Jayra) wasn't in my baby's classroom but the teachers there were still not following my baby's schedule, they were not giving the baby her bottles on time, they would always put the excuse that baby was sleeping. I also took my baby some sleepers so she can stay warm in her classroom since it was so cold in there but they would take it off and lose her socks. The third day when I went to drop her off, I went in the classroom and I waited almost 10 min for the teacher to go inside the classroom to take my baby so I can rush to work but she was too busy gossiping with another teacher in another classroom. Every time I use to go drop her off or picked her up, there was a different teacher which didn't know anything about the instructions I had gave to the previous teacher, their communication skills were horrible. This is not a place to trust, it's full of unprofessional and poorly trained staff that are only there for a paycheck and not necessarily because they like kids.
