Because our roof was 18 years old, the depreciation meant the insurance company owed nothing towards replacing our roof. We had spoken to a different representative of Tarrant Roofing a few years back who had impressed us with his expertise. Frankly, when this current situation arose, and I found out we could not work with the previous rep, I was hesitant lightening would strike twice with a qualified rep. (Hint: I was wrong!) After speaking to clueless roofer after clueless roofer, who could not grasp the intracasies of our situation, I was becoming very discouraged. Enter Kolby Marlow with Tarrant Roofing. Kolby came by the house offering his services because I had called the company looking for the previous rep. I admit to being skeptical that Kolby could be as knowledgeable based on how much younger he was than the prior rep. I would be proven to be so wrong. After shopping yet some more companies, Kolby's dedication and professionalism shone through. If I told him I would follow up with him in a week, he reached out after 10 days to see if he could help me with anything. He never gave up on helping me, even when I was determined to play ostrich and ignore the situation. As the deadline approached the one-year mark, I realized playing ostrich was not helping at all. I called in my top three consults for updated estimates. One company came in within $1k of Kolby's estimate, but in the end, the longevity of Tarrant Roofing made me trust them as the way to go. No one had been as dedicated as Kolby in solving my problem. No company other than Tarrant Roofing had the history to back up their reliability. Kolby helped me pick my shingle color, which I love!! On the day of installation, Kolby was here from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm. He supervised the crew, answered my questions, and made sure their skills balanced with my needs. The seller's insurance company inspected and noted very little damage. The home's seller, who was dealing in good faith, had the ridge caps replaced. There were, however, inconsistencies in the age and overall condition of the roof. Tarrant Roofing had roofed my previous house with a 50 year rated, Class 4, Malarkey architectural roof. They had done a beautiful job for me. Years later a wind storm blew an old flat roll roof off of our patio. I turned to Judy Hannah at Tarrant Roofing. When Judy saw the damage she called other crews and sales people to come help. This was an older roof that had not been replaced before. Since Tarrant Roofing had done such a great job, on my house before, I hadn't hesitate calling Judy. She got over 10 people to pull the blown off roofing back on to cover the patio and secured it until I could get the insurance company to evaluate the damage. They did this without causing further damage to my precious Malarkey 50 year roof. Unfortunately we sold this house before the roof was fully repaired. The insurance company was adversarial, to understate the problem. Anyway, back to my grandson's future home. We called Judy 2 days before closing. She made a hole in her schedule and inspected the roof. She clarified that the roof was a higher rated roof than had been reported to us. Additionally, she noted that it was in good condition and had 8 or possibly 10 more years of life. We managed to get the sale of the house back on schedule and proceeded to closing. We sent a copy of the excellent report that Judy wrote, complete with the numerous photos to our real estate agent. Additionally, the report Judy wrote included a one year guarantee against leaks. Tarrant Roofing will repair any leaks that might happen for the year following the inspection. Remember, they did not install or repair the roof. Also, remember, it was a FREE inspection! Tarrant fixed my folks' roof after a storm earlier this year and did a fantastic and quick job. Over the Thanksgiving holidays we noticed a small leak in one of the bedrooms, so Dad called Andrew. Andrew came out within 3 hours, identified the problem and sent someone out to fix it before the expected rains this weekend. Andrew also just called to set up a time to send someone out to touch up the paint in the bedroom. I am so impressed with the integrity and quick, courteous service of Andrew and Tarrant! As a daughter of older parents, I especially appreciate people who take care of my folks with the same care as I would if I were local. Tarrant Roofing replaced the ceiling panels for our sunroom, metal carport roof and singles on my…read morehouse thru an insurance claim in 2020. Leaking developed on both the sunroom and carport. We have contacted Tarrant roofing warranty team multiple time to repair these issues and each time they have come out and did spot repairs with sealant. We still have leaking in the sunroom. Videos and pictures of the leaks have been submitted to them via email and text and the response has been slow. I have asked for a more permeant repair the last three times, only to have Tarrant advise they will get with their supervisor and fabrication team for better repair. Then we never hear back from them unit it rains again and enviably leaks. Look elsewhere when needing a roof replacement.

He hires experienced crews, and his more expensive materials may qualify for reductions to your insurance premiums. Note - RtR's solution can easily increase the cost of your roof by 10%+, and since insurance likely won't cover his upgrade, it can double the cost of your out of pocket expenses. Just recommend you clearly understand 1) what he is not going to install or fix that your insurance approved, 2) what RtR is installing that isn't covered by your insurance (deductable + shingles + ridge caps + wider gutters + ??) and exactly how many checks and the total sum you will be paying them for their roof vs other offers.

They demanded to come see it, spent less than 5 minutes at the property (I don't think anybody even went on the roof) and then demanded I needed to get on the phone with them. They then condescendingly told me if I take the cheap route it would ruin the house, while not knowing who the other company is or what the quote even is to do. When I read their quote in depth the only additional think they were charging for was a roof inspection when they advertize that their estimates are free. Just a giant waste of everybody's time.
