Joined this gym about a month ago and I can say with 100% confidence that this is the best gym I've attended. All the trainers bring something different to each class and pay very close attention to their clients during training to improve form and stay injury free. What a gym! i've been going here for over 3 years and if you want the true definition of passion and dedication then come to built strong No you won't hear the coaches screaming at the top of their lungs about how you you can only be better than you were yesterday and all that cheerleading rara useless stuff. What you'll get is a community gym and coaches who will challenge you, and educate you....i honestly have never had a better understanding of my body and its muscles until i came here which allows me to have better workouts. I've never been overweight or anything like that, so i don't have an amazing weight loss story to share with you (although i know for a fact there are several within this community) but my story is of new found strength, fitness education and better sleep. I'm quite sad that I had to move to the Antelope Valley and discontinue my time at Built Strong. Within my small time at the gym, I was respected and appreciated by the wonderful instructors (Eva, Wil, Eric, and Michelle) as well as the people in the community. The instructors take the time to learn your name which is huge because it builds a sense of trust. (Keep learning names)!!! Also, I had the privilege to work with Wil one-on-one because I wanted someone to correct my form, stance, and process. Wil, thanks for your guidance and patience. As for Eva, do take her Stretch classes. She is informative of the muscle, body, tissue, and neurological receptors regarding stretching. The classes itself are focused on specific body parts that change daily so you're not overworking those muscles. No workout is the same, you don't go into the gym with the same boring routine! A friend recommended this gym to me. I tried it for a week (first week is free) and I liked the classes they offer. There are morning and afternoon classes to choose from. The coaches pay close attention to form and technique which I found truly important. I have been going to this gym for the past 10 months now and the owners, Wil and Evina, recently added Erick to the coaching staff. He is a great addition to the already awesome coaches. However, They at Built Strong Strength Club has a program designed to get you stronger by covering all the important aspects of strength training, which includes; flexibility, mobility, stability, and functional movement. LITERALLY THE PERFECT GYM! My experience at Built Strong Strength Club was absolutely incredible it went above and beyond my expectations. I was able to work with Evina (who is also the owner) for three personal training sessions and within those sessions I really gained a better understanding of the limits of my body, the best methods for stretching and a wealth of knowledge as to how to optimize my fitness. I feel like I was being encouraged in a really positive way, and that Evina genuinely cared for my wellness and health more than anything. Going to these sessions also helped ignite a spark for a grand hiking adventure (300+ miles) and Evina gave me great advice as to how to prepare for that which I really appreciated. I would recommend this gym and ESPECIALLY the personal training to literally anybody who is physically capable of moving because they are safe, fun and I cannot emphasize enough how much you will learn about proper form and technique that could prevent injuries and other problems while working out. The quality and attention to detail of this gym is better than any I have been to.
