My first time ever taking a Pilates class and this spot was recommended by one of the besties! We were able to book a class same day for later that night. We got a 5pm class with Joelena as our instructor! Check-in was very easy with front desk. You get handed a cardboard placard with your name written on it. We got there about 15 minutes early so the previous class right before was still going on! The loud music and the instructor voice was energizing and I felt super excited to try out a class for the first time. You get to choose which machines you would like to use and people beforehand wipe down at the end of class. Seeing the cables and such had me very curious on how it goes! Our instructor went around as class was soon starting to ask our experience on pilates. You have to listen well during her instructions to know how to work the machines but after her quick tutorial we got right into it! I'm thankful for my friends helping me because I was clueless sometimes. PS Make sure you have grippy socks! Super thankful for my friend in having one for me, and I noticed there's many socks and products being sold too in the waiting area. Joelena was overall great and really helped push all of us into doing our best and she comes up to you personally every now and then to correct your form while telling the class too. I love this studio. It's always nice and clean, which makes the experience even better. There is also plenty of parking available, which is a big plus. The instructors are also great! I took a class with Kathy and was a great Pilates instructor. She spoke clearly and guided the class very well. The music selection was great and really set the tone for the workout. When entering I was greeted by Shir and she explained how the reformers worked since it was my first time. The instructions were easy and I got the hang of it during class. I've been a fan of the Lagree method for 8 years now and love to try new studios via Classpass. I've taken over 70 classes here so I'll start with the bad then end it on a high note. The bad: - The reformers are coming apart and leave a black residue every time. The springs always seem to be messed up as well. - Some of the instructors are no bueno. There seems to be a rotating door of instructors that don't know how to help modify for beginners and/or for those who are more advanced. The good: - Plenty of parking - Their coconut carbon filter has really refreshing water - One of the only studios that has someone at the front desk to help check you in - There are some solid instructors who are genuinely kind and really focus on slow counts/form such as Kristine and Hannah. All in all, I'd love to see some improvements on their reformers but that's all. read more

I found the one! This has got to be one of the best lagree studios in the valley. I have done multiple classes with motivate and solidcore down the street and this takes the cake. My favorite instructor is Kristine R because she is tough but she's kind! They really encourage you here and you sweat so much. If you're worried about taking your first Lagree class cause you'll be judged, fear no more! The studio is dark but not overly dark where you can't see what the movements are. read more

Nothing more annoying than dealing with parking when you're about to go workout, especially if running late for a class. I'm a beginner to Pilates and took a class with Elizabeth Gasparyan--and WOW, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment class started, she was super motivating and made the environment feel welcoming, especially for someone new like me. What really stood out is how attentive she was to everyone's form. She didn't hesitate to correct us (in the kindest, most encouraging way), and it made a huge difference in how I felt the movements. I really appreciated how she offered to teach us how to stretch properly at the end too--she clearly cares about her students' bodies and progress beyond just the workout. Elizabeth is hands down my favorite instructor. She's knowledgeable, uplifting, and makes every class feel like something to look forward to. If you're thinking about trying Pilates or just want a really solid instructor, I highly recommend taking her class. You'll leave feeling stronger, more confident, and probably a little obsessed like I am now! read more

I did speak to the club directly via email and had also spoken to the instructor when I went back a few weeks later and there was no response except when I posted a Yelp review. The owners response to my post says a lot. Instead of compassion for someone going through a miscarriage and missing class, he's blaming me for not communicating directly which I did. The studio did not extend my classes, I had to book my classes out before they expired so the dates of the classes were past the expiration date so I could use them. That is why they said they were already extended. Happy to share all receipts and emails if the owners responses to my post aren't enough. read more

My lower rating is mainly because of my experience with the front desk girl. This is more of a suggestion to management -- please consider reminding staff that there are kinder and more professional ways to communicate with customers. I walked in about 4 minutes before class was about to start -- not the full 10 minutes early, because I had to go back to my car to grab my water bottle and parking was a bit challenging. I completely understand that there are rules about arriving early, and I take responsibility for being a few minutes late. However, the way it was addressed came across with unnecessary attitude. A polite and friendly tone would have made all the difference. Something like, "I'm sorry, but we can't allow entry once class is about to begin," would have been perfectly fine. It's not always what you say, but how you say it. Hopefully, the staff can work on that, because it really affects the overall experience. read more

I used to be a regular at a different Lagree-style studio. This one just doesn't meet the mark for me, especially for the high price of one class ($40/class). The instructor barely demonstrates and more than half the class is lost on what the next workout is. People aren't following along and they're all looking at each other for guidance. It's the blind leading the blind sometimes. There's hardly modifications, which the instructor should provide if people are clearly struggling. read more

This company is a SCAM and they will rip you off. My Fiance was going here over a year ago. It's been a whole year that she hasn't been there, and they just charged us $289 on July 1st and attempted to charge us $578 on July 30th. I contacted customer service. They say that she took classes that she didn't pay for, which was a blatant lie. I provide them with proof, screen shots of when she took her last class and when she made her last payment. Her last class that she took was on 5/22/2024. Her last payment that she made was was after that on 5/31/2024, which means she had a whole extra month that she could have attended classes, but didn't even go. So no, there wasn't any unpaid classes. They also said they would stop attempting to charge her card and they just tried charging again for $578 today August 2nd. So they're not issuing a refund even though I provided proof and they're still attempting to charge her card. I figured I'd share this so it doesn't happen to anybody else. Loving this studio. Instructors are great and it's clean. They just upgraded all their lagree machines so they're brand new and super nice. There's always someone at the front to check you in and they have so many class times you can book. They also have my favorite flowater machine for water refills (so nice!!) If you like Pilates but want more of a challenge this is the studio for you! Prepare to be challenged and have muscles you didn't even know existed be sore! read more

My very first class at this studio was so great! Instructor Stephanie is such a great and motivational teacher. I really loved how she not only engaged with our form and corrected the class but also showed demonstrations of what moves we were going to work on. She makes sure to repeat names of the forms and really pushes you to do your best! Club Lagree uses headphones so you hear what the instructor is saying clearly which I thought was very innovative. This was my first class of Pilates like ever and Elizabeth the instructor was just amazing ! She was so good at noticing when I needed help throughout the class without me even saying anything, she just noticed and would come up and help me fix my form, adjust my machine etc. not only was she doing this was me but I noticed her always making sure everyone else in the class was getting assistance as well when she noticed their form was off etc. I'm so amazed at how she was able to keep the class moving along the whole time, all while helping every single person attending, when they needed. I've been trying out Club Lagree through ClassPass, and I'm really loving it so far! I especially enjoy Hannah's class--her energy and instruction make the workout both challenging and fun. The whole atmosphere is super motivating, and it honestly makes me want to work out more often! If you're looking for a great fitness class with a positive vibe, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'll be back for more classes for sure! read more

The Northridge machines are brand new. Lagree is not Pilates. It is a high-intensity full-body workout. The machine's moving tension platform can be intimidating. Most of the slow-moving exercises involve standing or crouching on the moving platform. Doing several minutes of various planks with the open well below on a moving platform felt a little dangerous. Modifications or alternatives weren't provided. read more

Such a great work out! I've had classes with Claudia, Daisy, Krystin, and Tomas and they're all great instructors. I love the emphasis on form. This is my first time using a megaformer and the instructors all provide great instructions and small adjustments which make a great experience. read more

I was so excited to have found a location for Lagree closer to my house. Upon entering, the vibe was really relaxed. They have a fridge of Celsius in case you need to purchase one for energy. There are many cool places in the center to grab a bite after class, especially for those of us with a busy work schedule. Upon entering, the instructor was extremely warm and friendly. However, I decided not to take class, because I would not have had the full experience of a group class. They only have headphones and do not have sound system that filters into the room. While I know this might seem like it is good for those who have specific ADA needs and might add to a personalized experience, it is not inclusive. As a person with ear issues and a ruptured eardrum that is awaiting surgery for repair, I found out that this was a headphone only location upon arrival. While the instructor told me I didn't need to use headphones after I inquired, she also said that I would not be able to experience the music played during class. And, as those of us who have taken group exercise classes in the past, music is important for motivation. I also wonder how wearing headphones might impact those with other sensory issues while exercising -- such as ADHD or autism. Or how the constant wearing of headphones contributes to hearing loss, as scientific studies prove. read more

I found out about Lagree via social media and it's been amazing! I'm so glad this location opened by my house and I love taking my morning classes with Claudia! Ive tried different types of workouts and this is probably the best one. You can go at your own pace and as Claudia says, all that matters is you get 1% better each class. read more

Quickly becoming my favorite of all the popular Pilates places in Porter Ranch/ Chatsworth/ Woodland Hills area. Instructors are Definitely the most challenging. If I could change one thing it would be the quality of their machines. They're just cheaper and not as luxurious others studios in the area.... no less "shakes" tho and the convenience of being able to park easily and run in class within 30 seconds is a huge draw. read more

Today was my first class and it was an amazing class! I love to strength train and I walk a lot, but that has nothing to do with what this class has to offer! It was a very humbling experience. 45 minutes of core strengthening is CHALLENGING. The instructor for the Sunday 7 AM class was so incredibly helpful. Although I was nervous, she made me feel comfortable and encouraged me throughout the class. I have one more class to take which I will be taking next week and then I will decide on purchasing additional classes. All in all if you love Pilates or if you are a beginner to Pilates, you won't regret coming here! The studio is clean and everyone wears noise canceling headphones so the music and the instructors instructions are in your ears... It gives it a really nice one-to-one personal feel also. Of all the workouts Ive committed to in the last 15 years, lagree is hands down my absolute favorite workout. Ladies... if you want to shed the muffin top this workout is it!!!! It is brutally challenging from day one but you should be there to be challenged!! I prefer a morning workout so my favorite instructors are Carly, Claudia and Hannah but every instructor , even the substitutes, are clutch! One thing I beg to change, and I mean this with all do respect... the corporate playlists are a bit repetitive. Ive noticed the same tracks playing every time i come to class. This place is so much fun! It kicks my butt every time. The movements are so small and I sweat very little but I am sore for days after every workout. It targets all my muscles and I think it has improved my posture as well. The instructors are motivational and I really like that they provide corrective feedback. Started my lagree journey May 2024 and i chose club lagree :) it's been a couple months of growing progress with my stability, posture, and form. And as much as I can thank myself for the hard work that's paying off i also want to give a big big thank you to Tatiana and Elizabeth. These girls are the reason i come back every time. Whoever i end up choosing to go with for the day makes the class SO FUN and feel like light work (although you know those holds and pulses are not) Elizabeth and Tatiana have always corrected my form, answered my questions and even stayed back after closing to explain certain moves to me when i didn't understand. They really do seem so passionate about helping us students get that body we're wanting to achieve. I think they're the BEST addition to Club Lagree and I'll always be coming back as long as they're there Oh and i love this locations receptionist, Savannah, she's such a sweet heart and always has the brightest smile on her face. read more
