One rank should be a single stack 4' high, 8' long. (Some sites on the web note that a rank is the same as a cord, 4'x4'x8'). What was delivered was 28" high, 8' long. Chase noted that it was light, that he had a new guy loading the truck, and would bring the rest the next day. I made the mistake of taking him at his word (not worth much, apparently), and gave him the check. He never showed. Attempts to contact him resulted in one text message asking if he could call later; never received a call. 4 days later: no wood, no contact. Zero stars out of 5. Would recommend dealing with someone else.

Chase Snyder ran a radio contest to help create a contact list. He called to see if I needed any…read moretree service and we scheduled a visit to do an estimate. He said he would email the estimate the next day. 2 days passed with no response so, I emailed him to request the estimate. I thought, since my email address is easy to mess up, that he might have tried an incorrect address. No response. I waited a few more days and then texted him. Again, no response. We were heading into a holiday weekend so, thinking he might have scheduled family time, I waited a few days after the holiday to contact his office by phone. Whoever answered the phone sounded very confused and said he'd pass on the message. And again, NO response. My guess is that my job was too small to bother with but, ghosting a potential client is shabby customer service. Fortunately, we were able to schedule the work with a reputable, reliable company that didn't mind a small job. I do hope that Mr. Snyder improves his customer service vibes.

I called Dave's for a concrete job. I needed a 8x16 patio and about 37ft of walk ripped out and…read morereplaced. I signed the contract and was told it would be completed in 2 weeks, This was a Fri. On Mon. I come home from work, Gary and his crew had everything ripped out and framed. I'm told it might be Fri.(d/t other jobs and weather) before it got poured.( What is called a 6bag pour, heavier weight I guess). I was ok with that. SURPRISE!! Tue. I come home the whole job was poured. I get home on Wed. Frame is out and it's all back filled. Low areas in the yard filled to improve ground water drainage. I was in shock. I did have the time to move things out of the way or pull up bulbs. The crew did all that. My wife picked up the bulbs so they could be replanted. I found this to be great work for a great price.
