Our favorites were the wave pool and the lazy river. We didn't have little ones so we didn't use the kid's area. There is plenty of lounging chairs but if it's super busy these may fill up pretty fast. Luckily you can also set your stuff up in the grassy area too. These are my tips for visiting: 1. Best hours are between after lunch and close. 2. You gotta keep your water bottles, drinks, and snacks in the car. So pack a cooler for breaks or purchase from their snack bar (affordable prices & had 1/2 food after 5pm!). You can also bring in empty bottles to fill up. 3. Stay with your little ones in the wave pool. While our older kids loved the high wave hours, it can been rough for little guys. 4. Check Groupon, they were admission packs available! 5. The "toilet plunge" waterslide is a little rough for little kids, and kids must be 48" or taller for the water slides so they are great for older kids. And there is a specific kid area for the smaller kids! 6. Pack your own beach towels, sunscreen. 7. They aren't really any shaded area, so bring something, like a shade tent, to set up in the grassy areas if preferred.

The concession stands could use a little work. My sister ordered a walking taco and only received meat and cheese no lettuce, tomato, nothing. I ordered a soft pretzel with cheese and got a hard dried up pretzel with cheese. Come visit the park and enjoy just don't ask for much in the way of food.

The facility themselves are quite clean albiet crowded at times on the weekend. There isn't too many places to sit down and wait for your kids to finish class. The pool itself is also smaller than other pools we have been to at other YMCA in Illinois. Overall I am happy we have not gotten a YMCA membership as it is not cheap and I can only imagine how it continues to be very crowded during the course of the week.

I'm happy to say that the management made it right last time because kids in our party we're being harassed by older kids on their own team as they were shooting them in the head with the Nerf gun. I find that this is unacceptable and if I would've known, I definitely would've spoken with the parents. My son raised his voice and told the game master who didn't do anything about it. I spoke with the manager later and he told me that he would speak with his staff and also gave us some game points to make up for the trouble. I hope they continue to enforce the rules because part of the reason people come to these places is they have fun not to get into conflict with people and their delinquent behavior.

She struggled with sticking up for herself and being too scared to use her voice. They've helped her find her voice and confidence. I loved what I saw in my kids so much, I joined the adult class myself! I've been going for coming up on a year and cannot say enough good things about what it's done for me. I did not start out in shape at all, I work a desk job. I feel better in all aspects of my life. It's more than just exercise. I love everyone who works here and my fellow students.
