Unfortunately, however, I'm now on my second JS mattress, and it's lasted only a little over two years. Other half and I are now waking up at 4 a.m. with lower/mid back pain. This is my second JS mattress, and both lasted only about two years. First was a foam outfit called the Harmony. Traded that in after two years for a traditional spring mattress. Hoped that would do the trick. But two years later it's the same back pain as before. I must have the worst luck in mattresses. Wanted to love JS, but going to try elsewhere. First off, Mike, the regional manager was super helpful and very knowledgeable. We didn't have any experience buying mattress or even know what we wanted. He gave us statistics, research information, reviews from previous customers, and personal experience (been working in the industry for 14 years) . He also said if we decide on spring mattress he'd would gather information such as our sleeping habits, alignment, etc, to help us pick the best fitting mattress. He truly was there to help and make sure we picked out a mattress that was the best fit rather than "making a sale". All my questions were answered thoroughly. In conversation Mike mentioned that the store is family owned, so glad we were supporting local business, and they did not work on commission, which really took off the pressure of "making a sale". We left learning so much more about mattresses and sleep, Looking forward to sleeping on our Temperpedic. Another note, because they had the mattress we wanted in stock they could do the delivery same day, since it was their delivery day.
