Tried a few things and there was more than enough food for 4 adults and 2 kids. This place has this Kamayan platter box that has good variety and is great for sharing. Will get to that later. Also this was take out so went to pick it up. First thing they suggested was the Caldereta Royale. This was a poutine but with stewed beef, carrots and peas and gravy. Quite tasty. Next we got a fried adobo chicken on rice also pretty good. Chicken was crispy and I was smelling it all the way home and couldn't wait to dive in when I got home. Now for the main, we ordered the Kamayan box that we saw on instagram. 5 different proteins, bed of seasoned rice, nice shrimps and fried eggs. Everything worked really well together. My parents were over and they ate with us, never trying Filipino food before. They loved it. The flavours and the sauce that came with it... Just delicious, and a must try. Food was more than enough for all of us, and I have left overs for lunch tomorrow. The staff here are super nice people. Patient with me as I couldn't decide what to order and through our great ideas. Also gave me something for free to try which was delicious as well. Would definitely be going back, amazing experience.

It is better this way so that each individual ingredient can be shown clearly. On top of a bed of crushed ice and carnation milk, there are 9 different ingredients plus a scoop of taro ice cream and a cherry on top. It took 10-15 mins to make it. The customer service was good. The Halo Halo was good, but I thought it had too much ice. There is a stage right in front of the food stall. When we were they, there was a children's magic show. There is indoor seating, but it is hard to find a table on the weekends since people linger around longer, especially if they are watching a show. There is free WiFi from the mall. The place I'd wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms, and they are both wheelchair accessible. There is free parking in the mall's parking lot. Review 2023-359

So far, I've had their sisig, kare-kare, beef steak, binagoongan, and lumpiang prito, and every dish has been consistently flavorful. The kare-kare, in particular, is exceptional -- rich and perfectly balanced- made with quality ingredients. They didn't cut corners. I'd also recommend their dessert - maja blanca (only $8) and chicharon (I would say is better than Banahaw), which were both delightful surprises. Pricing is fair, especially considering the quality. The packaging is thoughtful too, ensuring the food stays fresh. While the service can be a bit slow at times, the food is definitely worth the wait. This place has quickly become my go-to for Filipino cuisine, and I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu. My only hope is that they maintain this level of quality and not to become like others- becoming overly commercialized. Highly recommended! Lastly, the staff exemplifies great customer service and truly an asset to the restaurant owner- they're great in sales too :)

That is a bit pricey compared to other places in Scarborough. The space is too small, and it was very cramped seating. I was not able to face the stage where i was sitting. The lounge is on the upper floor and not handicap accessible. The pork sisig was disappointing. We usually order a party tray and it was really good. The sizzling plate in the restaurant had lots of fat and no meat. We even ordered 2 sisig and same thing all fat. The pork bbq was really good with a nice thick layer of sweet savory bbq sauce. There were some unedible pieces of fat, but overall, it was a good appetizer. The hot wings were crispy and juicy and nice, sweet chili dipping sauce to compliment them. The wings were not spicy at all. The menu is QR code scan using your mobile device. The server was taking orders using a tablet point of sale device. They are licensed to serve alcohol and you can order buckets of beer, wine, and cocktails. The live entertainment was pretty interactive, and they invited some people from my group to sing along karaoke style with the band. If live music and karaoke are your favorite way to enjoy a night out, then this place might be for you. For me, the tight seating arrangements and some subpar food offerings left something to be desired. The beer buckets are quite pricey and if you are looking for Red Horse, they do serve the tall boy cans here. Expect to pay a premium for the import beers. We drank Stella Artois. The total bill, including 5 x $10 cover charge came up to $280. It was very expensive considering the food we ate and 2 buckets of beer. The current owner Ariel took over the restaurant from his uncle just before the pandemic. It's already a good sign to know a restaurant survived that -- it must have its unique advantages. My first impression of this restaurant was that it made me feel very relaxed, as if I was truly in the Philippines, or on a tropical small island. Its decoration and the way it displays the food are casual and even a bit shabby, but still make me feel very comfortable, just like being at home. The restaurant plays 80's, 90's music. I heard it has karaoke from time to time, I do want to participate in that ! It has all kinds of authentic Filipino food, but our goal is only the Kamayan - Boodle Fight. I looked it up with AI, Kamayan means "use hands to eat", Boodle is just a lot of food, Fight is because you need to fight for your food. This feast is very appealing. All the ingredients will be spread on the table which is covered by banana leaves. The ingredients are colorful, the main proteins are seafood, like squids and fish . With a lot of boiled vegetables on the side. The rice is garlic rice and full of flavor. The restaurant will provide you with gloves to let you eat them with your hands. You can eat them directly or with their special sauce. The food is delicious, but what really stands out is the memorable combination of visuals and flavors. If you've never tried a boodle fight before, I highly recommend giving it a try .
