The chicken was amazing, so was the bibimbap and tteokbokki. Good prices too with a banquet for the hungry ones.

It seems like the Gold Coast doesn't have any all you can eat Korean restaurants but we stumbled upon this delicious place. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and are located in the prime Surfers Paradise area. Parking is a bit limited but you can parking a block away in a structure that allows two hours free. Inside we were seated right away and given a menu. Bulgogi is the first thing that caught our attention so we ordered that right away. The bulgogi was good but the meat was a bit hard. Next we ordered the Kalbi. Which was INCREDIBLE! We got two more orders of it. The meat was so delicious and flavored perfectly. We were also given a bunch of sides that were included. We will definitely be back for more! Edit - We've gone twice now and both times were fantastic experiences. Their service is top notch and you truly feel that they care about their customers. Our second visit we got the Kalbi again (my favorite) and the wagyu. Both have a wonderful sauce they are seasoned with. So happy to have found our new KBBQ spot!

Since I JUST moved to Brisbane, I had to rely on my fellow Yelpers. Thank you Yelpers for being there for me. I was also reassured when I walked in and it was ONLY Korean people customers. They only brought out 3 tiny dishes of sweet potato, pasta, and kimchi. I am used to a more varied selection of at least 6-8 mini dishes to start the meal off. The kimchi was fantastic though! I will give them that. I don't know if that's how they do here in Australia or just at this particular restaurant. Our meals came out in an appropriate amount of time. I ordered the Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap and it was pretty tasty. Not the best I have ever had but filled the craving. We also had the No. 22 with chicken and rice and spicy seafood soup. The ladies are now fans of Korean food! :) The water they served us was really nice and ice cold. The service will come to you if you need them but they won't really bother you. When you're ready to go, you just come to the counter and pay there. After going to eat here, my roommate and I discussed Korean food. She is a big fan and said that this is one of the top two places so yeah! Thanks Yelpers for making my first Korean experience in Australia a yelp worthy one.

They are an authentic charcoal korean bbq restaurant. They have tons of choices for meat ranging from beef, chicken, pork, etc. The food also comes with a lot of side dishes. The quality is incredible and you can truly taste it. Some of the meat is marinated while others you dip in the provided sauces after cooking. They usually cook the dishes for you, however if its super busy you may need to cook yourself. The customer service is always fantastic and truly one of the reasons I keep coming back. They are currently on Groupon so you can get a voucher to enjoy a discounted meal here.

They use real wood to cook at your table, not just electric or a gas burner... Real wood!!! That makes the meats taste wonderful! One of the best meals we've had on the Gold Coast. Staff are constantly coming to your table to make sure everything is good. One of the best Korean BBQ's we've ever had, anywhere!! Everything we ordered was 5 out of 5, all the meats were fresh, tender and high quality, all the side dishes tasted great. Make sure you use/lower the vent close to your food as it stokes the fire and keeps the coals hot.

I am stoked that I ended up at Nom Nom! The beginning was a little rough. I'm not sure how I felt about the exchange with the lady that took my order. Let's just say I've had better service. I couldn't really decide on what to get; a couple of things caught my eye. In the end, I went with the spicy Korean wings. They took a while to get out, and the lady told me they would, but they were well worth the wait. They were tangy, messy, a little bit spicy (zip might be a better word) and delicious! The wings were gigantic. This is easily one of the fullest meals I've had in town. The wings reminded me of the fried wings you'd find in Korea. I'm sure that sounds like it would be obvious as the place was a Korean eatery, but not all places taste like the country they claim. These wings came with fries as well. The only thing I'd change, aside from the reception was probably less sour cream. A touch was nice, but there was a rather large glob of it and I had excess upon finishing the wings and fries. For anyone wanting to try, and you should, the wings are plenty to fill you up. I almost had to tap out.
