They have a good amount of bagel variety. Jalapeño, to sundries tomatoes, to spinach , super thin bagels (sorry I can't remember what they are called), gluten free bagels, poppy seed, rainbow, blueberry , everything bagels and the list goes on and on. The only reason why I give it 3 stars is I feel rushed when I'm in there. Maybe because I came during lunch rush and taking too long to decide/ask questions? But food wise it's pretty good.

What goes well with a warm Sunday morning? Bagels and Brunch! Second time here at Bengal Nash- more…read moreof a bakery it seems, than a restaurant due to its non table service approach to dining. But there is a distinct division between its bakery side and hot table. The seating area is quite spacious. You simply order and pay at the front, grab your tray and coffees and enjoy. My company ordered thrn?$4.95 breakfast which comes with two eggs, bagel and coffee. Literally you get two eggs, no starchy potatoes or any other goodies. I ordered some crispy turkey bacon for the table, and a cup of cream cheese with sliced tomato and cucumbers. For everything, 3 specials, extra bagel cream cheese and sliced veg came out to about $23.90. The bagels are delicate and fresh. Coffee is hot and good (watch those flimsy cups without lids) whixh is begging for a traditional rugelach: a delicious buttery Yiddish pastry from the old world. Overall, good service (don't believe the negative reviews as it is not a full service and is geared predominantly for take away). So next time you're at Steels and Dufferin on a Sunday with Bubbi- drop in for a few bagels and coffee and you'll thank me for it.

Their main location is in Mississauga, and they expanded to North York a few years ago. Service is nice and cheerful, making you feel quite welcome. I like their drink selection that has some interesting things like black sesame latte, tiramisu latte, and grapefruit tea. Their dessert select is good too, with things big and small. Their rolls and cakes are excellent, with plenty of cream, not too sweet. The cakes are beautifully glazed and decorated. The sweet potato cake is fluffy and light. The mont blanc has a nice chestnutty flavour, but is a bit too sweet for my liking. At the moment, they are selling Korean dubai chewy cookies, but we'll see how long this fad lasts...

My friend who loves cake recommended me to check out Tokyo Cheesecake for the Double Layer Yakult…read moreCheesecake. I was a bit skeptical because I'm not a huge fan of yakult aka yogurt stuff. But she was right LOL. It was really good, and it was even better than the desserts at the restaurant we had dinner at that night. We cut the 6" cheesecake into 12 small pieces, and it was perfect for a sweet little treat at the end of our meal :) The staff were courteous and ready to help. It was quite busy even on a Saturday evening around 6pm. There are also tables inside the shop for dining in. Other than whole cakes, they do have slices of cakes available and other mini desserts + a lot of macarons! We did request the shop to write HBD on the cake, but the staff said they are unable to do it at this location (not sure why, maybe don't have the proper tools?). We also tried asking for a candle; we ended up having to buy a pack of 6 candles at the shop :\
