The difference between this UPS Store just off I-40 exit 276 in Durham and the other UPS store…read moreclose to me, Meadowmont in Chapel Hill, are the hours. This location opens and closes one hour later than the Meadowmont location: 9:00am-7:30pm, Monday-Friday and 10:00am-5:00pm, Saturday. Both locations are closed on Sunday. If I need to go to the UPS Store after the Meadowmont location has closed for the day, I will come to this one. (The Fordham Blvd location in Chapel Hill has the same hours as Meadowmont.) I came here and dropped off a bag of used Nespresso pods to be recycled. The bag had a prepaid shipping label on it. The UPS Store employee gave me a drop-off package receipt (standard). During my visit around 4:30pm on a Saturday, the store was busy with a socially-distant line outside and everyone mask-compliant. There were two employees and only two to four customers inside the store at a time. The employees were polite. They worked fast and efficiently. This is UPS Store #5399. It's sandwiched between four businesses. The parking lot in front can get congested. I suggest parking around the corner on the other side of Mattress Firm. It's much easier to pull in and out there.

Again concerned about the time, and the young man who helped me, Torian, assured me that my letters would be sent from that location. Stopped by the post office today in RTP to mail a package on the first day of the deadline week to…read moremail xmas packages. It was completely mobbed so looked up the nearest packaging store and landed here. This place is jam packed with all kinds of things for sale, a wall of PO boxes, and behind the counter were mounds of packages to be picked up by UPS and the USPS. The lady who greeted me was super friendly and took care of me right away. What a relief compared to my visit to the post office! I don't know if there's an upcharge to send through this place, but I imagine so. Nonetheless, it was worth it not to have to stand in a huge line at the RTP PO! My package is on it's way to my friend with plenty of time to spare.

Thanks to the system being down, Latoya and Kristin were not able to check customers in using their computers. Kristin was so kind to use her very own cell phone to check customers in so that business would run as usual. Once the ladies got me all checked in, i was given my truck and keys and off we went. They were so nice and kind and the computer issues were understood. I found it amazing that they didn't stop to sweat over the computers but they found a 'work around' and continued working! Way to go Kristin & Latoya! In regards to the truck, it drove great! They have parking next door that you can utilize so you can leave your car parked with them while you take the rental truck.

Just ask and he'll post a notice about your event in the window and display your business cards. He's also started showcasing some really nice dichroic glass jewelry made by a local artist. The store offers monthly billing for those with accounts. I've even gone in by mistake without my wallet, and they've trusted me for the payment.
