Very helpful in navigating the store, or online orders. The store is smaller than others, like Scarborough or Windham or Waterville, however, they still offer a lot of great items for fair prices and it all adds up if you are a rewards member. If you have something specific you are looking for, you may want to call ahead to see if they have it at this store, which again, is smaller. My family typically looks for movies, music, books and games. I love the fun, magnets, toys and collectibles. Everyone we shop with usually walks out with something fun. Parking can be tough if there is construction or the farmers market is open, if you are willing to walk a bit, then it's no problem at all accessing it.

This new employee owned Bull Moose store is way less cramped than its former Sanford location, where I've shopped for music a long way back. This store had their grand opening a few months ago. Like its old location except more spread out inside, the Biddeford location offers a pretty good selection of new and used music, movies, video games, and books to choose from. The store is well organized nicely by sections with vinyl records, books, CDs, video games, DVDs, Blu-rays and miscellaneous items in between. The music is organized by genre alphabetically with a mix of new and used CDs, They also carry used cassettes ($3 each) underneath the old vinyls. The prices including the sale prices here are very competitive to the online music stores. The Bull Moose website is a good place to search and find which stores have your item or title in stock. They also do special orders and accept used music, movies, and video games for $$$ if in good condition. I spotted several used CDs from 20 years ago being sold for as low as $2.97, which I have in my personal collection and are no longer made. As a holder of the Bull Moose Music FBC (Freakin' Buyers Card), I earn points with each purchase here and receive the Bull Moose Music weekly emails with their e-sales flyers, new releases, promotions, and events (chainwide). IMO, the new Biddeford Bull Moose location is a great improvement to the older cramped location, though it's not as big as the Scarborough Superstore location.

No one could muster a "hello" or even any acknowledgment that I was there. While the selection was nice, it all comes down to service. If you are a KISS fan especially, there is a lot of specialized, rarer stuff here. But the rare inventory seems to come at the cost of all the inventory's pricing. The prices are 2-3 times what I've paid for the same condition pressings elsewhere- sometimes 4-5 times more. I'm not sure how it's getting these prices especially in a small town like Rochester. A bummer- if the prices were in line I would've bought a good dozen records!

Everything was well run, everyone in line was respectful and nice, I'm not sure if this is how all RSD events are, but, I'm glad that this was my experience. The store itself is HUGE, tons and tons of vinyl to choose from, ranging from vintage to brand new. Everyone working, from the owner, to the girls at the registers, were amazing! While visiting my boyfriend's family in Maine, I came to the Reading Corner looking for a copy of…read morethe really popular (and excellent) book, All the Light We Cannot See. Though they had a great selection of best sellers and new releases, they were all sold out of this one. They told me they'd give me a call the next day if they got it in, and took down my information. Luckily, the next day my phone rang, and one of the extremely friendly employees told me they had the book and had set aside a copy for me. When I arrived, they had the book and even offered to gift wrap it for me. This was an all-around great experience with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again!
