My tenant complained about AC and water damage and they did nothing about it. Now my home has moldy walls and damage that will require extensive repair. I decided to terminate my contract with them, and in retaliation, they refused to pay me my last month's rent, jeopardizing me. I would like to share my experience as a tenant at the apartment located at 8887 Sperry Street. In June 2024, during a very hot and humid period, the air conditioning malfunctioned and the issue was not resolved for approximately 5 days. During that time, I had to remain in the apartment under those conditions. When I moved in, I was informed that the internet, gas, electricity, and water were all active. However, it took about 10 days for the internet connection to be fully activated. As a result, we were unable to use the television for a while, and my daughter had difficulty completing her school assignments. Most recently, when I went to the Student Enrollment Office to register my daughter for high school, I was asked to provide a copy of the ID of the authorized person named on the lease agreement. Although both the office staff and I contacted the company by phone to explain the situation, the requested document was not provided in time. Consequently, I had to leave without completing the process. Additionally, I was not feeling well that day and had to wait for an extended period. These experiences have been quite stressful for me. For this reason, I have informed the company that I do not plan to renew my lease when it expires. I hope service processes can be improved in the future so that other tenants do not face similar challenges. read more

So I can't access the key to lock the home once I got the squatters out of the house . I am extremely disappointed with this company.... Update: i requested my deposit back (look at photos) because of the squatters issue and the condition of the house. And they refused... So I am forced to take them to small claims court, which I am getting a lawyer and preparing for that currently I will keep this post updated until my issue is resolved. Been a renter Now 5 Years two different properties , this is my second apartment and last few months staying under Bull. Several code enforcement cases all properties have issues with maintenance. when I move from my last apartment and left it spotless, they kept 1650 of my deposit with no valid reason the apartment that we moved to under their management was fully furnished worn down to the point where I had to have my child's father paint certain areas move three rooms of furniture out including two fully furnished rooms with dressers and beds living room sets there were tobacco, guts, and condoms, left from squatters smoking, and doing whatever in the apartment, which they leave open when I contacted about the issues with having to move all of the furniture out and clean the apartment and paint it myself they would not take $200 off of deposit for me. My child's father work with Mohammed for about a year, going to several different duplexes and properties doing evictions and hauling for them. He was underpaid to the point where he ceased work with them the AC in the apartment I'm in now a year and a half later is still not working, and I have evidence of putting in AC issues from when we first moved in. The apartments next-door to me has been abandoned for a while and there are people coming in and out around my home strangers and they are doing nothing about keeping the apartments locked. They are very much scam artist they do not respond timely to any notices of anything and will make you go the extra mile contacting code enforcement and such things. One of their properties has a severe black mold problem, and they have done absolutely nothing to address it, despite repeated complaints. Black mold is a serious health hazard, yet they continue to ignore the issue, putting tenants' health at risk. I recently rented through this property management and have had nothing but issues trying to get my security deposit back. I am leaving this review so others are aware of the lack of consideration and actions of Mira Abdeli and Lee K. Property manager. There was a flood in our back room due to improper sealing, construction as they built the backroom onto the home. It ruined OUR stuff and we put also put in a maintenance requests. All they did was send someone out to look at it and they left with no follow up. This was right before hurricane season and we had just renewed the lease. Fast forward they are now charging us $800 for mold because of their failure is updating and making sure the home is up to date and livable before renting. This will be an issue for future tenants. They also rarely sent anyone out to mow our yard when this was clearly part of the lease. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. They don't care about the tenants or renters they just want your money. Disappointing experience and I will be sure to take this further. It's sad that you waited to use my money to fix the issues that are your responsibility. Their practices as a rental management company are rife with extortion, mismanagement, and deception. You will be met with false claims, money spent out of pocket, and your baseless fees deducted from your security deposit. Once they strip your security deposit, your only option will be to take them to Small Claims Court and will be left to wonder what is your time worth. They know this and will take advantage of you. We have filed a Consumer Complaint Form with the FL Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services. If you have faced the same issues, I encourage you to file a complaint as well. Terrible! I don't even want to give it a star. Their communication is horrible. My husband and I have left so many voicemails and emails that they do not respond to. I call and im lucky if I get an answer. In my time with this specific company, I have put in maintenance requests and it always takes them weeks to get to and I always have to keep following up with them. When they do send out maintenance, I have had multiple call backs on the same issue. I truly did not want to write a bad review. I actually prefer to write good reviews but since im currently WAITING for maintenance to come for a request I put in since December and January (this is not the first time this happens), Idk what else to do to get their attention. This is bad for business, unethical and in the last couple of years they have raised my rent by nearly $500. The least they can do is help me take care of the property! Just two Saturdays ago I got a call from them asking if I was going to be home they were going to send someone out. The tenants moved out without paying rent, even took away 2 TVs, they did literally nothing about it. They should have used the security deposit to cover part of my losses, unbelievable they said they had already refunded the deposit to the tenants! I suspected they took the deposit for themselves. They will do whatever they can to scam you. They will not work to keep your property safe from damage. They even sneakily charged me reparations fee without proper reasons or any heads up.
