So for the same price to rent/pay on a new W/D I'm now dropping off my clothes at Bulldog Laundry and saving loads of time I used to use to procrastinate on folding laundry. They always come back nicely folded or hung up, smelling great, wonderfully cleaned, and within the same day when I drop off in the morning. Love their texing service to let me know I can come pick up. Always different people behind the counter but they've all been nice and quick to give me my ticket or find my bag. read more

Came in around 7 PM Monday immediately with a "oh I'm sorry ma'am, last wash is at such as such." I answered by telling the attendant that I only needed to dry. she exclaimed "oh ok ". I was very disappointed when I returned at 5 till 8pm (closing time) and the place was completely shut down and dark as if it had been deserted for hours/not a sole in sight....with my clothes locked inside...so I hoped!!! I just hate it when businesses don't live up to their store hours, but at any moment or the bat off and eye, closes before actual closing time, no matter how it make affect others. The reason they are getting two stars is for speed of service. I would not recommend going here. They shrunk my Hugo Boss suit pants a good three inches and made the fabric rough and uncomfortable to wear after I'd owned the suit for 6 months. Their pressing does not remove wrinkles. I've used Bulldog Laundry's wash and fold service for over a year now. Twice they have unfortunately stained multiple items of clothing. Everyone at the business is very kind and their timing is very speedy. It is borderline inexcusable to stain multiple shirts on several occasions. The stains have both been highlighters/pens and sadly the business declares itself not responsible for any stains. Once again, I like this place. I think it is clean, well run, and all the staff are kind, but it's ridiculous to pay for a place to stain your clothes. read more

I had 3 items to get dry cleaned, one including a tuxedo, and nothing came out clean or better than when dropped off. I was charged the full amount and one shirt was labeled as "could not be cleaned" but was not made aware of this at check out. The tuxedo came out with more stains. First off, she had me wait because she was sleeping during business hours. Next, I respectfully showed the lady the clothing tags with the laundry symbols on them to check if dry cleaning was appropriate. That was when she started screaming at me and said how she was supposed to know the symbols. If the worker at the drycleaning business does not know, who else should know? She was being so defensive for her own ignorance when it was her job to know. Also, forget not knowing, but why the attitude? From looking at other people's reviews, apparently the clothes are shrinking. I can see why because the business does not care about the laundry symbols, not to mention she doen't even know how to read them. Dry cleaning is not simply putting them in a machine.. every clothing is different in how it should be dry cleaned or dried. That is why every clothing has a tag with specific instructions. She kept saying "you do it at your own risk or find yourself a different place" in a rude manner. The fact that the business does not think this is her business shows she fails to do her job and should not be trusted with anyone's clothes. In short: Unprofessional and bad attitude. Such a disappointment. See pictures. First two are examples of curtains they pressed for us. The third picture represents what they should look like. 4 panels and charged $60. These look horrible. See where they creased them backwards. Then the blue one has one crease correct and others incorrect. How could they think this was good quality. I've tried this establishment three times due to its close location to where I live and it has a drive-thru. Every time I've been the ladies there have the worst attitude and customer service. It was almost like they were angry that customers were coming in. Two of the times I used the drive-thru because I have small children and it's easier than getting them all out (and I'm not going to leave them in the car). They take forever to get to the drive-through and pretend like they don't see you. Today when she finally came to the drive-through window, she looked in my backseat and then said "we're really busy next time you should just come in." When I responded that I have three children in the car (which she observed) and I was just waiting my turn, she begrudgingly took my ticket and found my dress. After inspecting the dress, I noticed that the white satin buttons now have red lines all over them. I will be looking for a place that actually wants business. read more

They refuse to accept responsibility for messing up the shirt and claim that I must have worn it before I brought it back even though it still had the dry cleaners tags on it. I am a student who attends UGA and lives in the Russell dorm hall. Bulldog laundry is right up the street from me and after finding no empty washing machines in the dorm, I decided to try it out. I got all my laundry and made the quick drive over. Once I got parked, I saw a lot of signs about folding and washing. As a young adult who has never had to use a laundry mat, I did not quite feel confident with how it worked. I decided to go in to first figure out how things worked before bringing in all my laundry. My investigation led me to believe that I would need quarters in order to rent the washing machine. I suspected that this was the case and had come inside with my wallet. I went to the machine to exchange my dollar bills for quarters and a problem arose. For some reason, the attendant employed by this company felt the need to waddle over to me while I was trying to get quarters and rudely tell me that I was not allowed to get any quarters if I did not plan on doing laundry. The manner in which she said this drew the attention of everyone in the business. I explained to her that I was in fact planning on doing laundry but that I had left my laundry in the car. She quickly snapped back that I would have to go get my laundry before she would allow me to exchange my cash for quarters. Perhaps the case is that the manager of the store is constantly refilling the quarter machine and has instructed employees to only allow customers to use it. This is a fair policy and I would understand this. But I am absolutely positive that no one who is equipped to run a business instructed that attendant to embarrass a potential customer in front of the entire store. I said potential customer because I did not do business there and I will never do business there until I am sure that the specific attendant that took her bad day out on me is no longer employed at that location. read more

The women who work here are very sweet and super helpful. There's also a woman that does a good job tailoring here. However, their turnaround time for wash and fold is very long and it's $1/lb (definitely more than other places). The washers are 8-13 quarters, depending on the size (which I find pretty expensive!), and the dryers are a quarter for 7 minutes. Just because this place is a stones throw away I will do some of my laundry here, but when it comes to dropping off items I take it somewhere else, for sure. They do have new owners and they seem to be nice. They've bought new furniture and new tvs. I'm not sure if they've added much of an air conditioning, because it's always been a million degrees in there. However, when they close at 9 and I walk in at 8 with one load to do (20 minutes to wash and 15 minutes to dry)--DO NOT tell me that I can't start washing and turn me away!!! I understand new bossman wanted to go home, but that was absolutely absurd. I am a regular and know how long it will take me, so don't turn business away. read more

Updating my review because I've had the same ridiculous experience that it sounds like at least one other reviewer has also dealt with. I had checked that they were open on Labor Day, didn't have a sign up about any different hours, nothing noted on their facebook page... I arrive at 5:10pm and the employee tells me I can't start washing, as they close at 6 today. Only after I left did I realize it was still so early. It takes 23 minutes to wash and 14 to dry. Not only can they not be bothered to post their special hours anywhere at all, but their employees apparently just want to cut out early. Not being able to rely on a business makes it of not much use to me. read more

When I called an asked if they did same day Wash and fold the man on the phone was really nice and said they did. When I took my clothes by there the woman who was there asked, "Can we help you?" I said, "Yes and I am here to drop these off cor wash and fold. She said, "Well you are gonna have to wait! There are people in front of you!" Really? Is that how your talk to customers? This was the worst dry cleaners I've ever been to. I dropped off a BRAND NEW WITH TAGS dress just to be steamed to get the wrinkles out. I picked up the dress 4 days later and put it on for my event that night and it had stains and small holes in it. It was unwearable. I then proceeded to call them right then and they told me to bring it in 3 days later when the manager would be there. I brought it in (manager wasn't there) and the lady working showed me pictures taken "before" they cleaned the dress. The date of the pictures was over 24 hours after I dropped it off. I think I would've noticed HUGE BLACK DOTS down the dress. She told me I dropped it off that way, but I had put the dress on once before in my house and immediately put it back in the box. The only reason I was asked to bring it in three days after I called was so that they could make up a story and claim that pictures taken 24 hours after I dropped off the dress showed the condition of the dress before they touched it. I drove across town to this cleaners because they were open later than others in town and I needed some dry cleaning done for a weekend event, so I wanted to get it in by Wednesday evening. I arrived at 8:40pm, 20 minutes before closing hours... hours posted both on this site and on the business door as 9pm closing. Literally every light in the place was on, even the TV. Another customer and I waited around since we still had almost 20 minutes till closing and finally an employee came out of the back of the store and turned us away saying they were closed, with more than 15 minutes remaining on their stated business hours. I have been using Bulldog's dry cleaning service for over 15 years now. Their work is consistently good and the service is excellent! They remember my name even when I haven't visited for months. The only time I had a problem, they went above and beyond to fix it. I had dropped off some shirts that needed extra starch and they were supposed to be back the next day. When I went to pick them up, there was some sort of problem and they were not ready. My problem was that I was going out of town and needed those shirts. Bulldog took down my information and mailed me the shirts (I was in Massachusetts) the next day with no charge for the cleaning or the postage. I was very impressed and appreciative. Was excited with new renovation. I dropped off my roommates and my clothes and they came back smelling terrible. I looked it up and it says that means the machine is broken. I called up and they told me to bring in my clothes bc they would resolve the problem. When dropping them off the second time, no one who worked there could smell it but offered to fix the clothes nonetheless. After going to pick them up, they charged me the same amount as the first time. So after paying $38 for clothes they made smell worse, they offered to give me a "coupon" for fixing my clothes. $22 to pick them up the second time. $60 for clothes that smell terrible and management who won't take responsibility for their mistakes. Don't waste your time here. Oh and all those positive reviews on here? They offer $3 off for customers who do a positive rating so don't trust them. read more
