Wow I wish there was a NO STAR but not available. I can't believe a company could give such poor customer service. I am getting married in 2 months and wanted to receive a quote for some tanks and hats. After calling several business found on Google, I call this business. Not only was the gentleman which I didn't get the name very short but his tone was rude. I informed him that his pricing was extremely higher to his competitors which I had called. His response was, We get the job done. As a manager I thought that I would email their office to let them know of the service that their office is giving potential customers. Also, that I would be writing a review since I wouldn't want anyone else to experienced this. The worst experience. Carlos Orozco said he could take care of my 16-shirt print job in a day or two. The job called for specific color tees that had to be matched to different slogans. This turned out to be entirely beyond his capabilities. From an unwillingness to read his emails, to his inability to make the required printer functional, to him telling me to 'f#ck off, you piece of craphole' when the job was already a week late and I wanted my money back so I could find someone else to do the job last-minute. Now he's not even taking my calls, or giving me proof of the refund. Stay away from this place at all costs. read more

Hands down the worst customer service I've ever received. This place is terrible! A few weeks ago I went to this place to get 5 shirts done and after getting a price quote from the manager and speaking to him about all the details and pricing I was convinced that this place was a perfect place to get them done within 2 days. However, when I came in the manager immediately changed the pricing and gave my friend and I so much attitude, it was really uncomfortable being around him but we had no other choice but to get the shirts done here because we were running out of time to begin looking for another place. When I went to pick them up, all the shirts looked so faded (the printing looked washed out) and there was a stain on the last tshirt (which the manager neatly placed as the last tshirt on the stack). After approaching him about it he nearly barked at me and said it will wash away and went back to his computer hoping I would leave. I do not understand how this place gets business. Seriously. Do not come here for any print job, their printing sucks, and their customer service is unbelievably terrible. read more

We needed a small run of vinyl decals with a quick turnaround. Bulldog was quick to respond to our request and finished the job in a timely manner. But why just one star? Because they did it all wrong. We asked for a certain type of vinyl, we didn't get it. We asked for black and white vinyl, we got black printed on white and grey printed on white. All wrong. We asked them to redo the job and they said they would contact us via e-mail. That didn't happen, so we had to call them. The manager was "not able to come to the phone" and would not be able to complete the order. They ended up saying that they would refund our money. We will see if that happens. Bottom line: not professional, poor communication and no basic reading skills. Go someplace else, we will too. read more

Where do I start? I would give this place no stars but yelp doesn't allow that. Placed an order for t-shirts. Paid in advance. Went to pick them up tonight and the "iron on" was already lifting in the corners. On one t-shirt it was obvious the original placement wasn't correct so they lifted it and put it back on leaving residue where the original placement was done. I stated I wanted a refund, THE OWNER CALLED ME THE "C WORD" and pretended he was calling the police! This was an experience straight out of the twilight zone. This is the LEAST professional printing service I have ever dealt with. The art director really gave me the runaround. I submitted my order on monday, received my confirmation response, paid for the order in full, completed everything perfectly and was promised to have my prints by thursday. I was very satisfied and felt this was a reasonable turnaround. So what happens? I call on thursday ready to pick up, and they put me on hold for 20 minutes to go look around for my order. THEN, they come back on and tell me they lost the order. How this is even possible with a paid upfront order I have no idea. Next they tell me they will put it back in their system and start over again, so I should call back to see if the prints are done on Monday. All this of course with not as much as an apology or god forbid some sort of discount for having reneged on the deadline promised by the art director. I wanted to support a local Chicago business instead of ordering online, and for that I have missed my deadline. Definitely don't print here! Print somewhere else! read more

Awesome job! Postcards look great, nice quality, and fantastic price... I shopped around a bunch online, and only found one place cheaper - but Bulldog was local so I saved more on shipping than the total price I would have paid to get these cards from far away. Best Part: They turned my cards around in 1 day! Ordered Monday, got an email on Tues afternoon saying the 5,000 cards were ready... I picked 'em up Wednesday! Freakin sweet. Mike was even kind enough to run 'em out to the car for me when I called (since my little daughter was asleep in the car, I'm not normally lazy but she'd been in a fierce mood before she finally conked out). The single most horrible customer service I have EVER in my lifetime experienced. I went in the last week of June to order shirts for my cleaning company. I went there because it was in my neighborhood and thought I would give my money to a local rather than order online. I am not sure how long he has been there but the place was in total disarray. However he had s t-shirt on the top of a pile of mess that I spotted similar in design that I had in mind and he had a special outside the door that said like a dozen t-shirts for 200$ with your design/ logo . I was attending an event that I wanted the shirts for that weekend and the owner promised me getting them done by Friday 6/30 would not be a problem. I placed an order for t-shirts with him for double the colors and sizes that I had came in for.. for 400$ and he promised to have them by Friday. That never happened ! Needless to say I went in to inquire about them 2 weeks after they were promised to me and he blamed my graphic and asked me to purchase another one online that it would be better . 2 and 1/2 weeks later now still not one finished t-shirt and I spend 3 hours there with his helper whom he screamed and swore at in front of me because they had lost another persons art work . His helper seemed to take it in stride and continue to help me. It was a crazy experience all the way around to have this irate man yelling at his employee for spending to much time helping me. The crazy owner also kept going to a door off the room with a mop in his hand to do I don't know what but he was screaming and swearing at the dog that was barking that he was a bad dog and to shut up ! The environment was hostile in there to say the least and I felt sorry for the young man who worked there. But at this point I just wanted to get thru this process and get something close to what I had came in for in the first place. He came at the employee took the design made a few clicks went in the other room and pulled a shirt off that was no where near what I had requested or came in for. I told him that. He got irate with me and said I needed to make up my mind !!! Really? My mind was made up when I came in and I knew what I wanted. I think you should of said you could not do what I asked and I would of went on my merry way . Then you proceed to try and convince me that I should accept this shabby look and consider it vintage .. the more I think about this I have to ask ... who does that??? But he told me to go to the web site and pick a solid t-shirt because I did not understand what I was asking him to do . So I leave with nothing call him back to find out where I go to pick something else out and now the next day his employee is yelling at me that he has spent to much time on this and has no idea the owner told me to pick a different color yesterday if I did not want the vintage look he produced for me ! I never asked for a vintage t-shirt in the first place. Now the kid tells me he's offended that I called it vintage & he gets irate when I tell him the owner tried to sell me his work and he called the look vintage - not me. I simply did not like the way they looked old and beat that was not what I came in for nor the look I want to represent my business. It was the owner -his boss who told me to pick out a solid to print on. So now he's mad and loud like the owner and he puts the owner on the phone who then tells me he's not doing this with out adding a 35 percent extra charge to my final bill. Well I got news for you Mr bulldog - I been around a while and know my rights as a consumer - listen up you will not get one dime from me and I will get my money back that I paid you . You failed to perform as promised . I got nothing from you and you were paid . You ARE a horrible business man . And shame on you for the way you carry on and treated that young man who works for you and that dog you were abusing! read more

I regret having considered Bulldog printing. They gave false quotes, promised false dates and offers. We are a non-profit organization, we trusted bulldog's offers for our holiday calendars & acted accordingly. But finally they simply said they can't deliver. No business ethics. In 9 years of owning a promotional products company, working with Bulldog Printing and Charlie Orozco was hands down the absolute WORST experience I have had with a vendor. Not only was the customer service absolutely awful, the pricing was high, and the quality was so poor that I ended up losing my customer as a result of Charlie's shoddy work. After all that, he had the temerity to tell me how he didn't make any money on my order and I should pay for the replacements. Lol. This guy's a real piece of work, total scam artist. This place has really gone downhill. I had a great experience there last year for printing some postcards there last year, so when I needed some last minute business cards, I figured they would be great. Boy, was I wrong. First off, their website is confusing and the link to their dropbox link doesn't work. I tried to email the art, and it bounced. I found out later that the art was too big for their email server. I called the following day to make sure that the order would be ready by the weekend and to figure out how to get them my artwork. The person I talked too (the owner I'm pretty sure, based on the other bad reviews in this thread) was rude as hell. I was very polite and was met with nothing but attitude. From the beginning, I had ordered "next day" printing and rounded corners. When I asked about if the order would be ready, he said, "I can't gaurantee that. It's maybe 90% sure, but I can't gaurantee it." If you can't gaurantee it, then whey charge people $30 more for "next day printing". I did end up getting the cards on time, but, of course, the corners weren't rounded. My wife, who picked up the cards, refused to leave until they trimmed the corners. Which they did very shoddily. Also, the quality of the cards are really weird. I asked for matte and got this "glossy" slimey card. In short, pay the extra and go for a quality place like Urban Imaging. I will never be back to Bulldog Printing. And fuck you to the owner for being a goddamn prick. read more

This is my third review of Bulldog Printing! I have been going to them for about two years to print postcards and a few t-shirts for my plays that I write and produce and have been nothing but excruciatingly happy with the quality of their products. I will continue to patronize them! The colors always come out bright, clear and just the way I wanted. Colors are very important to me. They always have a quick turn-around time; I've had t-shirts made the day of and also have put in rush orders for postcards that have been done the next day! One of the employees even gave me the idea to have my image printed on a neon yellow shirt; I was ecstatic with the way it turned out! Also, the price is right; so reasonable. Mike has been very flexible with us (sometimes we have small orders, sometimes larger) and has always been able to turn around orders super quick - sometimes in as little as three days. Went to get a price quote. Was told I should show them the design and after I did, they started to show me on the computer how the shirt could look if I were to print it there. I really did not want to go with that design but was interested when I was told I could have a sample shirt to show to the people I was searching a t-shirt shop for. At that time I was still really interested in using them but then I heard something about having to pay $6.00 for the shirt, which I can understand but if you offer to do something, you should quote cost before you do the work. By the time the shirt was in my hands, the price had gone up to $20.00 (because they will save the design they did, but that I will most likely not use because that's not what I came in there for). So, I went in for a price quote and ended up spending $20.00 ... not really sure if this is the place for me especially after having read some of the reviews here that quote some of the same problems. I would like to work with them because they are local but I am really worried about the changes in cost I experienced in just one hour. read more
